Stop!!! would you use a beltloader that was unsafe?Would the company force you to? The answer is no on both isnt it.If the pilots deem the plane unsafe it will be grounded meanwhile you have jetway bags dont close the bin yet

The ENTIRE World besides Capitalist America and Canada have grounded the plane for serious safety concerns. The optics currently for AA and SWA look terrible that they would compromise safety for profit.

Particularly even more so for AA who only has 24 of those planes.

Have you seen the video of the crash yet Al? Its not on YouTube obviously but it’s floating around out there. And you can also see some of the bodies after the crash.

Weez,
how many layoffs will Samuelson cause if Parker agreed with him?
Will that fat subway mechanic stay the F away from our talks? He is an absolute moron. He will cost us thousands of jobs if we ground 40 jets. Will he still take his $250,000 salary?
The morons we have as union leaders has destroyed all ideas of a fair contract. Its time to vote

I guarantee the pilots are spooked, if that airplane so much as hiccups they will write it up.

Im 100% confident that if our skilled pilots thought the plane wasnt airworthy they would be grounded and management would agree. Its best you stick to what to what you have knowledge of.The subject is above your paygrade. If they do decide to ground the fleet it will be for safety, finances wont be a factor

Samuelsen could very well be yelling fire in a movie theater

Based on what I've been reading, I don't believe that the 2 incidents are related. The Lion Air has pretty much been narrowed down to the crew not knowing how to disable the automation. Latest on the most recent crash has several witnesses saying that the aircraft was trailing white smoke, with cargo and luggage falling out of it on the way down. Not a valid reason to ground the US fleet IMO, given that the crews are aware of the auto trim system on the Max 8s.

If Samuelson really cared about the AMT's and fleet srvice he would have busted this ASSociation.
Yes I think he is a socialist or maybe communist.
Just like all other leaders I don't see him readjusting his pay to be more at par with the people he represents.
A true leader would not make more the 10 to 15% of their highest paid person they represent.
talk about hypocrisy. He has bashed CEO due to their pay disparity with their workers.
He needs to point the bullhorn towards himself.

Wow this thread is just loaded up with a bunch of Company kiss asses and suck ups and Management flunkies.

Ray La Hood.

And the Capitalist hosts on CNBC are arguing with him.

Canada has now joined the rest of the World and grounded the 737 Max 8.

Who’s going to write it up when it crashes?
True if the FAA gets enough Data that it wasn't pilot error because of lack of understanding how the MCAS system works, believe me Weazz they will ground the jets, and have Boeing redesign the software for FCCs. Boeing is already rewriting the software to be installed by April.
