As soon as we have JCBA’s in place you’ll be able to transfer any where you want as long as there’s an opening.

If you go from an IAM to a TWU represented location they’ll just have you sign a dues check off card and they will become your representative. (Vice versa)

Who knon when will that happen.... Haha
I got an interview coming up, I'm not sure if I want to take the offer or not.

The second Thursday of never. or....
next Friday. or....
they already have.
Seems to me, that's a good question, with different answers depending on what you read and believe. I wouldn't think until after we have a joint contract.

When we have JCBA’s in place and active you will be able to put in a transfer to any city you want that is held under contract by either the TWU or the IAM.

When my Mother died she left behind a note for me that I found. That note said,

“Remember use your mind, not your emotions”

Good luck on your interview.

Reading the latest update from Mark Baskett i think the state of talks could very well wind up in the cooling off period. The company wants wants wants yet regardless how much the airline makes they want to kill our jobs yet they want us to Trust Them? The he!! if i were to trust them. Im not alone at DCA who feels this way. What a bunch of greedy self centered mgmt clowns running the airline. Keep on fighting the good fight Association.

As of right now IAM AMT can't transfer over to a TWU AMT position. (Vise versa) Do you think that will be possible in the future?

The IAM’s mantra: “they can do that brother”

And if they can’t the IAM will gladly work with management to make it happen (UGE, McGee, Air Wisconsin at UA/NW) so long as it maintains or enhances dues income.

Baskett is lying. There will be no cooling off period. 100% no cooling off. For a moment, lets say baskett is correct, then a cooling off would happen in 3-5 years. The association would be long replaced by then if it let things stall without a vote. I work with ord twu and they want a contract immediately. Oops, im in pbi now, but i hope to only work 2 days a week as ill still spend most my time in ord at the same apt that weez doesnt like.
Robbed, you dont have to believe me but its only goin to be ice. Mr baskett would do himself well by following current casework.

Proof?

Where’s the offer you said you would post?

Bet you wouldn’t call Baskett a liar to his face.

Another holiday lost for LAA folks. 16 years and counting.
The company is happy. The IAM is fine with it, and the TWU wants you to prepare for a few more years of it.
Oh by the way, Samuelson is watching negotiations from afar! I'm still waiting for all the leverage the Association brought to the TWU.

No matter how you view the latest video that depicted flight attendants in a poor light, the complete lack of any vocal support for the APFA against American Airlines from the "Fighting" IAM speaks volumes.....

It’s not the IAM’s job to protect the APFA.

And AA has come out and stated this wasn’t a company sponsored event nor did they participate.

AMERICAN RESPONDS
“We saw a customer’s social media post depicting a group of American flight attendants at a customer-organized and hosted event. What was portrayed in the skit was not sanctioned by the airline and is not representative of the 27,000 professional flight attendants who take great care of millions of customers each year. We spoke to the customer who posted the video and shared our concerns that the actions depicted in the skit he witnessed are demeaning to our professional flight attendants and crew members throughout the industry. We appreciate that he listened to our concerns and that he agreed to remove the video.”

Mark, your update was very informative. Really put out there what the company is seeking.

I do have a question or two. This info you provided, is this your opinion or is it something that was passed on from the Executive Committee? Secondly, I haven't seen that in writing from the company, but you also state the company will not put in writing that they would not do that. I would like to see both.
And finally, why is it that Executive Committee can run the show (negotiate my and many other members future) yet they can not put out the detailed info that you did. Would love to hear from from the room that is actually face to face with the company. Yours, Fa's, and others write and interpret things a bit differently. If the "Leaders" would update something with detail, nothing gets lost. If they will not let you in the room to hear first hand, at least they can post info first hand!
