I’d say you should take Al along with you but I think ripping away from his squirrels would break his heart and maybe send him into a deep depression.

im gonna see if i can still get on a surfboard. surfing at DAB in my teens was fun. if it can be an activity again may be cool. Have to check out the woman stock there as well. The avg weight is prolly alot less than the chicago and wisconsin stock.

i answered your question. Certainly, i would have been better off being non union as opposed to being iam.
My retirement is toast, the company contracted out most work anyways and i really would have preferred our profit sharing plan as well. It cost each of us thousands of dollars and thousands of jobs. The iam became a suckers bet at best.

How did your Retirement become "Toast"? Was it a failure at LUS or another company within the "Multi-Corporate umbrella?

it became toast when the iam scrapped my 10% 401k for its crap pension. Then it cut half my pension to stay afloat, and now its gonna b critical status and be cut again to junk status.

Maybe because the IAM allowed their station to be contracted out. Just ask UA employees from dozens of cities. Really showed the value of representation to the unorganized sCO passenger service when their first CBA enables serial outsourcing.

Are you in the Plan? If so, we all received a letter a couple of months ago that mentioned critical status (it was the one that explained the latest unilateral changes to the Plan’s benefits).

IIRC, the other previous cuts to future payouts are all noted on IAMNPF.org.

Seeing nothing here about your Pension being labeled in critical status or will be cut to junk. As a matter of “FACT” it says they’re proud to be in Green Zone Status.
