Look, Id rather that we didnt panic for the dues grab. But that was your people.
Sure id rather have a better bonus but its about leverage and the company isnt going to negotiate more. Remember, you have the iam on the company side. Remember your pickets?

Tim stop talking about the cross utilization and OUR pretty decent raises. If all that were true then no Union would ever get anything at all outside of JCBA talks. Compensation is rising because of Industry transformation, a still strong Global economy and low oil prices.

And you don’t work for the Company to be able to claim what exactly they’re going to offer even if Jerry Glass himself really is your Daddy or Uncle.

And your claim about the IAM (Who knows) I’ve heard claimed about every Union from A to Z. Obviously including my own.

Anyway the Bonus SUX IMO and like Crema brings up and up so does our Profit Sharing formula. BTW PS is also contractual at TWU SWA.

like i said, stop lookin at twu contracts. The iam does not give a crap about PS or bonus'. I got a $250 bonus in 1999 and a $1,500 bonus in 2014. The iam traded my ps for Mainline Express back in 2003. And they said that PS isnt guaranteed so stop B'ing.
Had nothing to do with bankruptcy cuz the cwa kept PS but the iam always tries to eliminate our PS in exchange for more members.
When we actually were in line for a good ps check, the iam took half of it and gave to employees outside our contract.
Why am i tellin you? because it doesnt matter that me and you want more ps and bonus, since the iam hates us getting things without the company giving the iam some skin.
 
yes, not saying that an arbitrator is the be all, end all.

in the extreme scenario of the company not budging an inch and this drags on...that is my scenario.

i believe the company's biggest fear is sharing a dollar from all the billions they will rake in, in this cycle of strong economy/demand/shale oil revolution.

that has to be brought up, at the very least, to throw some fear. eventually, we will go after your profits.

clearly, the company is not afraid to go for our jugular, we can't be afraid to do the same.

Cross-utilization is a HUGE deal during any merger, and shouldn't be downplayed. It's a huge hurdle in the way of the "synergy" companies are so hungry for. There's huge leverage there. We had it ripped from us. You guys gave it away.

Tim when Ual gave bonuses to employees with a ratification of their contract.Was the money given directly to the employees or did the iam take a chunk and if they did how do they justify

Really ?in this environment with no leverage what fear can you impose without getting an injunction in 2 seconds.They can ride this out for years.We are the ones who are getting antsy

Well if all of this is true then you should be ecstatic that the TWU holds an equal 50% equity share in the TWU/IAM Association.

Tim did you know that of the top 5 Officers in the TWU, 2 of them are AA Fleet Service clerks. Neither of them ever retired or resigned from AA. As a matter of fact if you read the Maintenance threads they never stop crowing how they’re stuck in a Fleet Union.

And besides you really did love that 2014 agreement as I recall. And the same guys are in there again fighting for you. That should most certainly give you the warm and fuzzies.

The company wanted to give a bonus but the iam wanted to call it "retro". So the company gave the iam the millions and let the iam devise a method. So then the IAM F'd it all up and skimmed 10% claiming it needed to set aside the money for lawsuits. To this day, nobody knows where the money went but with most members like CLTrat, they just blindly stand down and believe whatever their agc tells them. In a brain numbing way, they then blame me. Crazy but its not like we are dealing with educated workforce. Sheep.

The LUS crews on D39 and D40 still have to bid with each other so the Company has not gotten all the benefits from cross U just yet. (DCA and LGA are a nightmare for staffing I hear)

Anyway I didn’t give it away personally but now in hindsight and seeing all my bank accounts on Fire it was the right move to make. Let’s say they hadn’t come to a deal. We would still be sitting here 2 years later and people would REALLY HATE!!!!!! the TWU. Guaranteed little old AMFA or AMP would be collecting dues here at AA and maybe even the AGW would have some traction.

Then again you only take the hard line stance on everything from the outside looking in. And unfortunately Kev it wasn’t ripped from you, it was what the majority voted for. Again I’m sorry about that for you.

Actually since the Mediation was announced the silence has become almost deafening. It seems to have done wonders at calming most everyone’s nerves out there (Besides Tim of course)

forget about it. Weez doesnt want us to pay attention to it but the line item negotiations "Pay for play" that gave the TWU millions more in dues, in exchange for shelving jcba talks after giving the company its Holy Grail was a classic fail

Weez, Charlie, Cltrat etc dont comprehend the leverage lost. Just like they couldnt comprehend that the United contract that gave up health care would affect us. Weez attacked me continuously never understanding why i shut down ta2. He still couldnt comprehend how i put .75 more an hour in his pocket since his pay was based off of united.
I love these fellow rampers but we have morons on our ramps.

What kind of classes are required to receive a rudimentary degree in Theology (The study of God) and how have you applied your degree in your life since graduation?

Were you also an alter boy and sneak some of the sacrificial wine when no one was watching?
