You know what gets me is the IAM guys gloating. What this ruling probably means is the sooner than later end of our medical. Sito can and will likely give it up soon without fear of losing his jobYou could do worse...
Don’t forget his ability to consistently lead guys like you around by the nose.
people like cltrat will gladly give his family health care up due to hate. You know what gets me is the IAM guys gloating. What this ruling probably means is the sooner than later end of our medical. Sito can and will likely give it up soon without fear of losing his job
I have to exhaust things with the iam first. Then most likely create a competing union with the professionals but, from my perspective, i dont see the need to get rid of the association prior to a jcba. After a jcba then imo other things should be considered by twu members. 2 unions will immediately outlive their time after a jcba. Either twu or iam. If they cant decide, then othwrs can decide for them.
Looking at jumping in the delta stew campaign and educating delta and jetblue ramp.
yes. almost certainly before section 6Tim does the DOL pathetic ruling mean we should have a contract sooner than later minus US healthcare

What it says is that Sito is now free to give up lus health care and that im free to consider other options. Also means that many will become iam dues objectors now as well. Ill review that path as well and make a decision next month and educate others as well.Tim I’m not very adept at all of this Legalese. Perhaps you would be so kind as to explain this to me?

With Tim watching perhaps the IAM will play it straight from now on either that or they will try to give him a cushy union job which they might any way if he goes against the DL And Jetblue recruitingTim I’m not very adept at all of this Legalese. John JohnHow about showing the other guys hand
I'm not gloating Im giving the man some credit for going against the union establishment. You have to agree we are more likely to see a TA now but you won't admit itI think this guy Sito is around 62 years old? How much you want to bet he’s fighting for the best Contract he can get for his friends that he used to work with and after JCBA’s are ratified he’s going to retire?
If your Medical does go all the way up to the 21% that we currently pay it may wind up being more gradual than 2020 or you may wind up with some other arrangement that we haven’t even discussed here yet?

So to keep what we already have will be considered a win?Are you asking for 60 stations and mainline to take over express work?John John
Besides getting rid of catering and some cargo jobs, and also to attrition down to much lower numbers than today, the company’s scope proposal is basically agreeing to loading and unloading aircraft and all other work will be under the “ when and where directed” wording. Meaning it can be taken from you at anytime.
Ex: Today we are working 175,s in several locations under that language. But this work since it’s under the when and where directed, could be took from our group at anytime by the company.
Our position is we are trying to protect all work currently being performed today in our 40 combined stations as well as restaff some stations. So maybe this better explains the gap between the two proposals.
To answer your question the best I can. I think we should protect all existing work that we have, before you worry about other stations. I would prefer to open up some stations we were once in, but first priority imo is to protect everything we have now.So to keep what we already have will be considered a win?Are you asking for 60 stations and mainline to take over express work?
