That’s excellent. But still doesn’t mean that IAM Members should be excited and want to pay more in monthly contributions and higher deductibles so they can get a free Diabetes screening and a lollipop or something like that.
Hey W, can I state a fact and make a comment without you assuming I'm selling our insurance.
Geez...you tell me to stop saying not a chance in hell...why don't you get off your assumption horse!

LET ME MAKE IT CLEAR W, I WANT THEIR INSURANCE. I HOPE THEY KEEP IT AND WE GET IT. IF NOT, WE MOVE ON!

My apologies. I admit I don’t put down my guard much because I’m always prepared to take a shot from some sort of direction. Mostly it’s usually the same old line so I do have some standard responses I throw back at people (Not all on here either)

I’m glad you’ve had good experiences with BCBS. Me personally I can’t stand dealing with any of these bloated out annoying Corporations myself. Apple having been the surprising notable exception. They’re Customer Service doesn’t come across as if they’re on autopilot and they know their business.

I have one question, TWU getting a contract is a win win. More holidays, more percentages in their 401k’s . IAM loses medical, pension no increase in holidays. Why do you think we are still divided! The association is a joke. The only reason why it was created was both unions were afraid of getting voted out and lose dues! I will stick with my current contract until the company can recognize that their proposed medical and 410k SUCK!!!!

Holy jumping jehusefat Batman. What in the World is going on with those Oil Prices? Where is Chicken Little now?

“In Q2 2018, Delta Air Lines (DAL) reported record second-quarter revenue of $11.77 billion (including third-party refinery sales). The revenue, which represents ~9.0% growth YoY (year-over-year), beat analysts’ expectation of $11.67 billion. Peers JetBlue Airways (JBLU), American Airlines (AAL), and Southwest Airlines (LUV) are projected to see revenue growth of 5.0%, 5.9%, and 0.5%, respectively, in Q2 2018.”

Actually the TWU was pressured into the Association by the AFL/CIO as the TWU could have filed for sole representation as they already held the majority of all Classes and Crafts and the IAM would have had to get Cards signed to be an intervenor which time to do so would have been incredibly short. The proof being that both APA and APFA are the surviving Unions for the Pilots and Flight Attendants at AA today.

But that point is moot today now.

Only if you keep bending over!

Actually there really is a huge part of me that hopes one day you guys really do get your cards for whatever and move on. Truth is currently we are tied to your groups problems since even the last update stated Maintenance SCOPE was discussed in detail and fleet was brushed off. We may very well in the future be chained to a wall waiting for your issues to be resolved to your satisfaction. (You guys never actually being satisfied)

At SWA both TWU groups were able to move forward over a year ago while AMFA continues to linger.

Although I do think we’ll have TA’s to vote on long before your latest never ending endeavor has any chance to cause disruptions I implore that even after you have your own JCBA you continue on and leave. And if you ever do actually leave don’t ever turn around and look back. Just keep going.

what have you ever done for Labor...ever? You are not any authority that anyone would seriously care what your opinion is of anything. I like you but it is sad how your handlers lie to you cuz they want a fake news message to pacify twu members. Oddly, it benefits me and iam members but ive tried to give you friendly advice before to try to work with your local union in some capacity instead of fanning false info about your Local president.
Sad.
please go away.

Daily TN unsolicited attack # 1.

An even bigger part of me would love to see you not have the burden of Aircraft Maintenance holding you back at every turn!

No need to be overdramatic with the “every turn” comment but yes your group has caused a difficulty or two for mine.

The 2010 vote (Good or bad)
Gary’s suit to try and prevent the Association, slowing things down and causing animosity.
Your bigger SCOPE focus
And I’m sure some of your past card drives have been a bit of a nuisance.

And now we “might” have to wait for you people yet again? I certainly know you’re not going to be waiting for us.

Creating it w/o a vote was a huge mistake.

"helping Hands" just made a bad scene worse, IMO.

Without that Oct 2016 deal doing some basic math at $6.00 per hour I would be out roughly $20,000 if we were still without a deal. And can you begin to imagine the pressure that our Negotiators would be under if the rest of the industry was where they’re at right now?

“Cross Utilization” first came with a Contract for the IAM bringing Fleet up by $4.00. Then it came with another $6.00 for all of us in Fleet.

Without that deal where do you think we (maybe even you) would be right now?
