Seems kind of weird that it would take until April, where our last two contacts only took 3 weeks to be done.

How long is it out for vote? April does seem far off

if they came out with a a.i.p. next week. 3 weeks to proof read, 1 month of road shows, 1 month to vote. that puts it at February or march for implementation. that would be if its fast tracked.

If we get an agreement and once it’s voted into place I would think it could easily be in place by late Jan or early Feb.

We woukd still probably get hosed for the holidays thru the end of the year.

With 42 years you should have enough seniority to find a nice corner to hide. With 42 years you should be ready to retire.

I would think the bean counters need a monetary number to start the year off in 2020. The APA and APFA are next. The MAX should be up and flying by 2020. If we go into 2020 with no deal we might not get much or be on slow pace to misery.
Would it be ironic if we knew who the next president would be before we get a JCBA? Sounds crazy but many of us at AA said a JCBA would take forever once the NMB rubber stamped the association. We are nowhere closer now than we were four years ago. I remember guys saying don't sign cards. It's not the right time because we are close to a contract. How long ago was that?
