Well to be honest they are kind of correct being close to an agreement. Everyday that goes by we are closer to an agreement. All we have to do is find that day on the calendar.
How many ships of opportunities have set sail since many scared and uninformed members refused to sign a card and get rid of the association? Uhmmmmm??????

I've had guys yell and curse at me because a card drive was in the works. They felt threatened a card drive was going to ruin negotiations. They don't feel that way now I'm sure but they still won't sign. The next signature for me other than a logbook will be my retirement papers. That's a guarentee over any card drive at AA. Very disappointing for the membership to go through this.

All of those people were voted in by the membership. As a whole, the 591 membership is pretty dumb, although each member is smart, I've never understood it.

Checked my source and its still contract by November which makes me wonder if there is still a big issue to negotiate. Any way contract by Nov implementation by april.Also said a couple of things like Union was responsible for latest management shake up and the union is demanding they drop the court case if the company wants to go forward.Of course this is coming from a union guy personally i dont thing the union is in any position to make demands the only position they arre in is one of being bent over.

So this source is basically saying nothing gets done this week or next week or the next and somehow they feel there in a position to demand the company drop the suit.
Well then I have my doubts we get anything this year.

No way they had anything to do with shakeup. That doesn't even make sense. They didn't touch anyone in the department that deals with negotiations.

The Association isn't in a position to demands anything, except maybe mercy.
