You can of course believe whoever you’d like Al, but 90% of the issues are falling around SCOPE.

The next update will be out tomorrow.
Weez we had negotiators on here tryjng to sell us on the pension, well i got a letter in the mail today that tells me they were full of doody. See this is why im against their big salaries, it may make them do something they normally wouldnt to protect their own interests .Its human nature

Al, I remember those pension experts (here) with their letters, Diagrams, green checks etc... they seem to be missing in action now. Some were quite unpleasant in their defense of it. For some, it's difficult to admit they were wrong.

Al there was no doubt that we saw it trending in the direction it landed at today but I also recall P. Rez was defending the numbers that he knew for a fact at that moment they were.

Every investment is a gamble and some just seem a more stable bet than others.

Mr baskett just bagged a $31,000 yearly raise and a 20% spike for his grand lodge pension. All while his members had their dues raised, pensions cut, and zero pay increases for 2 years.

yea where is the resident mathematician aka perez. looks like his math was worse than a 5th grader lol. i knew it all along. these guys aren't even good hustlers. btw, who is the baskett case scheduled to lie to this week? who possibly takes these clowns seriously?

Can't answer that, but the IAMNPF website states the site will have updates this coming Monday (4/29)...

"Calling all spin doctors, Calling all spin doctors, Please report to IAM headquarters for an emergency spin session. All drinks and lap dances on our dumb ass membership, oooops I mean on us. Please report immediately."

It’ll definitely be interesting to see all the new tables... I’m not sure you can spin something like that.

Surprised no one’s shown up yet to jabber about the “3 legged stool” for retirement.

737 Driver nailed it in an earlier post. People want control of their futures. The unions that embrace that and empower their memberships to do so will thrive. The rest will atrophy.

I’m honestly curious how many Plan Participants simply took that annual “we’re in the green!” flyer as gospel, and left it at that?

There’s actually quite a lot of in-depth information on the plan available, but I’m not sure I know anyone I work with that has actually gone and requested it.

what do you think are the chances of an agreement now? since the company wants to leave the plan? again we have the tail wagging the dog.

I think if you look back in the threads again you’ll see it was me who posted the last funding letters and I think my response to the level having dropped for the last 3 years in a row was, “Danger Will Robinson”

Now no I “STILL” was saying that I wouldn’t mind it being offered to us as a “CHOICE” if someone wanted it or not. I said I would make my choice after having all my questions answered and if I wasn’t satisfied with those answers I wouldn’t go with it.

Given the choice though I “STILL” would prefer to have a Company DPB as my first choice if the Laws demanded the Business fund the benefits in full and not what AA was doing underfunding our compensation.
