I watched the town Hall meeting on JetNet yesterday and Doug Parker said he feels the offer by the company is leading industry offer. I say let the membership see it and vote on it! I realize that the union feels it is not and there is some hidden clauses. We will not know until we read it!

Their lil lies came to an end. Burned bridges now has peterson with his tin cap back on. Its done. Negotiations are toasted.

During the first quarter, American repurchased 16.7 million shares at a total cost of $600 million, and said that the fully diluted weighted average share count for the first quarter was roughly $454 million.

i posted on our official association page that we will be doing a negotiation update letting members know where we are at in negotiations, and we will also make sure we answer the questions from the masses.

btw since all of the lies of the association have now been exposed, it is now dead so its hoping that parker gets fired.
Just like it hoped crandall, carty, horton, wolf, schofield, gangwall would all be fired.
As Sidney said, if parker gets fired, do you think the next ceo will toss millions more to us?

I tell you what you post a copy of said offer and I promise to let you know if I’ll vote for it or not.
If you choose not to then I’ll just have to consider you a liar and worse yet not a very creative one.

Al, I don't see 5 years, but I do see 2-3 years for you guys. I also see you guys being put on ice as well. I'm telling you that your co. is playing the very same playbook our co played with us and this is where I get my time frame. But still just a guess. As in our case, WHEN the co is ready is WHEN you guys will get an agreement. Good luck guys...

Don't you have it wrong? Wasn't it when AMFA wanted an agreement? I'm not saying I'm right, but didn't AMFA sign a TA after it was sued by the company in front of a friendly judge for a tab of millions? I looked at your TA and it didn't appear much different than the one you guys rejected a couple years ago, other than imputing more compensation for the further delay.
