Propaganda at the base is nothing new. Both the company and the UNION were spewing propaganda when I left that place. It was one of the things I could not stand about TULE.

I don't see the difference. They were spewing propaganda then and they are spewing it now. Nothing has changed. It may have a new format but it's the same old BS.

I've been here 32 years and I assure you it's different now, AA has hired over 50 media specialists to push the propaganda. It was never like this before.

So what are the two union response to merge the group, and which one will be the surviving union, are you guys going to vote on that! That sounds like it will be a long process. I am sure there are people there, that want to go with AMFA, but wouldn't that create a court case or not, or would the majority rule on an election?

Never happened with us. The powers to be paid off the NMB to rubber stamp the association. Majority rules in most cases, not with us. The TWU is the majority and it means nothing.

Teamsters? They are the reason we have the Association because of all the kool-aid drinkers that believed their lies. All for a free T shirt. A card drive and a successful vote will remove both the TWU and IAM under the Association. Doubt it will happen.

I just read the latest update from the IAM on this past week negotiations and as usual nothing new. The IAM were given the proposal from the company and they were disappointed. Same old news! What were the companies proposals? I feel that we have the right to know! I'm tired of paying union dues to get the same old postings from the IAM. Wait and see in about 3-4 months and the union tells us that the contract they have been negotiating is the best your going to see. So you better vote yes! BS

AMFA will give us their updates, we are on number #59, not much has changed since 2012, in mediation since 2015, they meet 3 days a month since mediation, before mediation they meet about 2 days a month. Only recently about 9 months ago the company started sending out emails to the membership what they were offering, which is from the company perspective, our last update from AMFA showed both, with the union perspective. Who knows how long it will go on, then we have the two federal lawsuits AMFA sued SWA, and SWA sued AMFA! So that's where we are at !

You mean to tell me that this asso. is not telling or showing the membership what the company is offering? You've got to be kidding me? That is something I would want my membership to know if I was on the NC. That would give the membership the power to get enraged ans well as respond like, showing support with the TWU's informational picketing coming up. I cannot believe they leave you guys totally in the dark until BAM!! Here is your T/A guys, best we could do, you better vote yes, and they sell it. Unbelievable...
