Agency Fee Instructions

PAC is not required and its against the law to force a contribution.
A labor organization is nothing more than legalized organized crime outfits that provide protection to poor and middle class workers. YOU pay for this protection which is then passed onto the La Casa Noestra politicians. Unions are the Democratic Party's largest contributors......It's YOUR money that is passed onto candidates that help Big Business screw all of us!!! How else are they funded???? Whether you call it a PAC or lobbyists.....the TWU cuts the check to THEIR candidates not yours. Republican or Democrats......it's ONE big party looking out for the best interests of AA and Wall Street. If you believe otherwise.....heaven help you!

Obama was in Chi town last night......came and left with millions within an 8 hr stint......you think big labor wasn't invited....you betcha and they passed an envelope over to Obama with YOUR name on it!!!!!

As long as we are abiding by the laws, while losing the battle of influencing the law, we are doomed.

Your union, if it is the TWU, also tells you how to vote, through their communication department. Every political race the TWU produces flyer's that push for the candidate of choice and in this case all of the candidates are of the Democratic Party.

PAC is not voluntary if there is a requirement as a condition of employment of a Closed Shop.

Yes candidates tell you how to vote but you do not have to pay the candidate or the supporters to maintain your livelihood. Many people just want to be asked how their money is spent politically and there are many who have a view opposite to that of the Democratic Party that the TWU pushes and uses your dues to fund whether through a PAC or not.

In my opinion the MONEY has more influence than the VOTE in our political system.

Therefore, who is telling who how to vote, is nothing more than the main tool of decpetion to keep the individual voter believing that they matter.

Want to know wou is going to win an election or which direction a debated law change is going to lean?
FOLLOW THE MONEY!

Ah....The other side is ANTI -UNION!!!

What side is the other side? If the good side is the union side, then why does the TWU support just the Democratic Party without the permission of the members? Remember there are no Labor Friendly Republicans!

Well the first is the rules to bring a vote for UNION representation, they can no longer count people not voting as no votes,
The anti UNION party tried to recind the ruling through the FAA funding bill.Obama promised a VETO.Has since been upheld.
Delta was not happy!

You cannot legilslate success in unionism.
How many times must we get negative results before this is finally learned.

The way to succeed in the advancement of unionism, is to provide a service worth its cost.
NOT CURRENTLY HAPPENING!

Why does American need an independent fiduciary for its pension plans?

The company could use the same accounting practice that is used for Agency Fee calculations.....

Teamster union hierarchy continues three-year-long campaign of harassment and intimidation
Los Angeles, CA (January 18, 2012) – With free legal assistance from the National Right to Work Foundation, two Los Angeles Times newspaper printing press operators have filed federal charges against a local Teamster union for violating their rights.

Leon Carey, Jr. and James Clayton filed the charges with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) last Wednesday.

Recently, Graphic Communications Conference of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (GCC/IBT) Local 140-N union and company officials entered into a contract which purports to require all employees to be full-dues-paying union members, even though full membership cannot be enforced under federal law. Moreover, union officials failed to inform workers of their rights, including their right to refrain from full-dues-paying union membership as upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court in the Foundation-won Communications Workers v. Beck case.

Instead, Teamster Local 140-N union officials sent the workers a letter ordering them to join the union and pay full dues or face termination while ignoring the workers' previous letters informing union officials that they were refraining from union membership.

Because California is not a Right to Work state, employees can be forced to pay union dues and fees as a condition of employment. However, employees cannot be legally compelled to join a union against their will and cannot be compelled to pay union dues used for union politics and member-only events.

"Teamster union officials have conducted an illegal campaign to extract full union dues from these workers wanting to exercise their rights to refrain from formal union membership, even though union officials can still force these workers under their control regardless of their union membership status," said Mark Mix, President of the National Right to Work Foundation. "Making union membership and dues-payment completely voluntary is the only way to prevent this type of abuse in the future, which is why California desperately needs a Right to Work law."

700UW, say it ain't so, members money going for politics? I'm beginning to see why dues objectors can't attend meetings and vote, even though we pay for the building we didn't want built and the officers we couldn't elect. 700, I'm not complaining, really. These non-germane expenditures would get out of hand if we voted them all in, thereby stiffing the members in good standing for the bill and getting a refund to boot. :D
