Afa Loses Again

PSA 1979,

I realize your zeal to help management in every way possible even if you seek to "sell down the river" the reserves, since you're so senior. I know if you were in office you would never have challenged the entire "reserve time balance" system THAT BUSTS SENIORITY FROM HERE TO KINGDOM COME AND DEFIES ALL SENIORITY DRIVEN CONTRACTS IN EVERY UNION, and knowing mangement stole more from the reserves through that sytem than any other group on the property. No siree, you would not see fit to challenge that for these folks if you were again in office.

Or let me guess....you don't really care as long as PORTION DELETED.

I expect the company to win this arbitration.

You almost sound hopeful that the f/a's will get screwed again.

If the arbitration is just, AFA will prevail, but then we don't live in a just world, so anything is possible. I, for one, hope that AFA will be successful in defending its members. I know there are those out there who hope AFA will fail in its efforts, preferring to throw themselves at the tender mercies of the US Airways "management."

But me, I send my best wishes, hopes and solidarity to Teddy and Molly and others in AFA who are fighting the good fight. I wonder--if "Analyst" had been around during the early labor struggles for an 8 hour day, would he/she have been clapping his/her hands with giddy glee at each and every failure along that long hard road to success?

Do you stand FOR anything? I know I do: justice, solidarity, human rights.

P.S. Welcome back, PITbull!!! You are an inspiration! (and better to be an inspiration than a whiner!)

Ah, DELETED PORTION DELETED. Well, I'm starting to think you are afraid of me. Why else do you continue to bring up the past. It was so quiet here without your mouth flapping.
Unlike you, I come from another airline where we had the reserve system we now have. I worked for 55 hour guarantee and barely broke it. It was fair, as we all got the same time in. We utilized the reserves as they were supposed to be.
Don't hate me because I am senior, I just chose to be a good employee and do my job, come to work for the last *** years. But you can hate me because I am smart and beautiful. Jealousy turns you green, doesn't it?
When was the last time you worked a trip?
Bombs away bull! I can't wait to see the vile spewing forth!!!

HMMMM,
Why is it that when IAM goes to court, it wins and AFA is continually on the brown end of the stick?

Could it be that AFA runs on emotion and rhetoric while ignoring the facts? Much in the way that they deny a sick abuse problem exists?

IAM looks poised to win again while as admitted on these very pages the AFA seems doomed to lose yet another round.

I'm not a lawyer but the outsource case looks like as much of a slam dunk as a court case can be. It's always a crap shoot but is does look good for IAM.
Bob,

According to your posts (all of them) you only love a "winner". If the IAM would have lost their case, you would have been all over that leadership, bad mouthing them from here to eternity.

This I know of you Mr. Bob....

I will be very nice as I don't want to get thrown off these boards...too many folks missed me and got PM'd to death, including managment!

PSA 1979,

I won't stoop to your level, my dear, If you say you're beautiful, than you must really believe that. Who am I to say differently. I always thought you were. And again, you running your mouth ALL weekend on just how wonderful you are? Did you get that management job you've been begging inflight for?

But the real topic is our reserves who have taken the worst hit I have ever seen on this property. You are way to removed to see this....I see it every single day.

And by the by, I work every single day of the week, unlike you who gets time off to just sit on these boards and attack the reserves and the f/as who get sick. Hopefully you will always stay in good health yourself.

PSA1979,

I hate to burst your bubble, but I have met PITbull and she is very very pretty and sexy.

I know you are on this forum every day of the week. But when was the last time you put on a uniform and went out and flew a trip?

And I get time off because I earned time off. I work my 105 every single month. You know what it's like putting kids through college.

Some of the reserves I work with are sooooo happy because they are actually flying, instead of sitting around. You know the per diem comes in handy.

Pitbull was banned for a few days as most know on here. Afa is losing these fights because it and its staff did a very poor job of sifting thru the details. Plain and simple. You cannot blame the company for milking every peeny out of the contract just like afa pushes the envelope. I know im a afa member.
USflyboi,

You are an AFA member as much as I am a "shill" for management....

AFA will most likely win this 'hands down". We already did have an arbitration render an apionion on this very issue back in June. Management knows they messed up here and forgot that case. That is how AFA knew they had a case. Managment asked AFA for "expedited arbitration"; NOT the other way around.

Sorry, you can't take more jabs at AFA until after the decision.

AND YES I'M BACK!

PSA if you think you can do a better job why don't you run? You sound bitter. Yeah, join the club, there are a lot of us putting kids through college and a bunch of other things. Don't be so myopic.
