Bzzzzzt! Wrong!!!!!!

If I may:

Reread my first sentence. "Sometimes things taken at face value are not what they seem."

What you read can sometimes be misleading. As for pay parity? That is/was not the real intent of the "Event". Think about it. Pull all of the public posts and put them together in chronological order. As each post was published, what was the reaction of the desired audience? Enough said. Keep it up Stephan, your our best leader in the drive to decertify. Like I said before, another ALPA blunder.

Wilson polling confirms this. Not only are pilots responding to the polling instead of hanging up, they are responding with a NUMBER!!!! A number that will give them a heck of a pay raise and acceptance of the award.

Whoever told you that, if that is the case, is purposefully misleading you. I didn't hang up. I asked if this was a ALPA National sponsored poll. The answer was yes. You don't want to know what I said. So am I the only one? Very doubtful.

Now, now. Prater doesn't view them as rules. He has called them guidelines. So give him a little time to get it straight.
I agree! :)

The Guidelines shall and must be followed...

Now... Rules? Laws? The Constitution? SOP's? Checklists? QRH's? Procedures? Agreements? Signed in the dotted line? Binding? TA's? WHO CARES! They don't mean CRAP! RIGHT? Why shall WE abide to any of them?

Why shall I pay the price (of my own choices) cause I wanted it all (DUH or is it DOH)... BUT I meant well... And I was missinformed by my MEC. My expectations were managed.

Oh Well! What's next? We shall see... UZAPA is coming!!!

GL

P.S. GREAT turn out at Tempe TombStones pay parity Picketing today!... Also forgot my REGARDS

I have been thinking about the increased intensity of the rhetoric of people like Junebug and I just realized something. With the recent news that USAPA is very close to filing the NMB Form 1, he and his colleagues are even more scared of the consequences of ALPA being "kicked off" of the property.

I believe the potential for USAPA to replace ALPA as the collective bargaining agent for both the East and West pilots gives the East a lot of leverage. Furthermore, the West pilots understand this, which is even more reason for East pilots to submit their cards.

Absent dues going up, there are no consequences to ALPA being kicked off the property. The East pilots still cannot impose a DOH integration on the west. Go back, reread your transition agreement and the law about the successor union getting all the bits of the CBA that the former union had. You can't do it without what was the West group ratifying a joint CBA independently of the East.

In other words, they could pull the "voted, but never passed a joint CBA" crap that the East has been threatening to do for ages. You will not be able to climb over a dead west pilot's seat to undo Nicolau, regardless of the union.

It is fun to watch you bluster as if you will, though.

Junebug,

And with that ratification, of course, comes the Nicolau Award. However, what you fail to recognize is that the East pilots understand they might get a short-term pay raise, but their seniority will suffer year-after-year as pilots with half their seniority bid in on top of them and then they will lose even more money.

You are incorrect here. Maybe, half their age... but greater seniority. Not my fault you worked at USAir.

Yes, it is quite fun watching the little gophers scurry around with a lot of activity and empty threats, like an entropic mass of disorganization and pointless claims of being wronged, with never producing a shred of evidence supporting anything they chatter incessantly about. One day, this show will be over... then what?

The US Airways MEC was split on whether or not to conduct informational picketing at the corporate headquarters because the AWA MEC was going to be present and there were reports the AWA pilots were going to try to disrupt the event. What good would it have done for the news media to see this specticle?

No one was going to mess with anyone so that's a lame excuse. Our Chairman even came out with a message telling everyone to stay away. Believe me, we wanted you guys out here.

The East MEC debate centered around an effective media campaign and how to best use MEC financial resources to get an effective response from management.

I think it centered more on the lack of FPL.

According to East ALPA Communications Committee Chairman Arnie Gentile, "Our "Equal Pay for Equal Workâ€￾ message will be displayed this week on the streets of Tempe and Phoenix using a highly visible mobile billboard that shows what the MEC thinks of management's two tier pilot pay scale."

Now that's a much better way to spend money, isn't it - NOT!!

Finally, the ALPA National Officers had other engagements on the September and politely declined the East MEC's invitation to picket, which was another consideration during the East MEC's debate.

Yes, I'm sure that's what it was. They would have been there if they had the time - NOT - AGAIN!!! I heard differently - they weren't coming no way no how.

Keep spinning though - its getting funnier.

Junebug,

Does it make you feel good to purposely mispronounce names, which is an insult?

As far as Stephen Bradford, I saw him in PHX today and he was receiving cards from AWA pilots. Interesting, huh?

I have never flunked a check ride in my life, how about you?

Finally, yes the US Airways pilots desire a pay raise, but they will not agree to one if it means the Nicolau Award is passed on to the company. All your comments are doing is fueling the fire to remove ALPA from the property. Keep up the good work!

Regards,

USA320Pilot

Pilot,

I think Junebug goes to the GWBush/John Bolton school of negotiating, "If you anger them enough, they will come over to your side". Junebug is not smart enough to see that those tactics are the same as terrorists, flattening the bell curve of opinion, driving people to extremes. Oh, well. A&Ws low standards at work, I see.

Actually we expect dues to go down. And yes, there are consequences associated with the removal of ALPA. Nic or no-Nic, a new union is a very real possibility. But if Nic is submitted, this I will guarantee, USAPA will be elected. There are still fence sitters waiting for ALPA's proposal/s. Absent a successful conclusion or solution, it just means more cards and more supporters.

I don't doubt you were the only one. I also don't doubt you were in the minority.

Sure snark. You hang on to that.

What mispronunciation bothers you?

As far as Stephen Bradford, I saw him in PHX today and he was receiving cards from AWA pilots. Interesting, huh?

Fantastic!! Add three to the tally.

I have never flunked a check ride in my life, how about you?

I hear it took you a few tries. And I hope you don't deny this because every east guy I correspond with confirms your poor piloting skills. And no, I haven't.

Finally, yes the US Airways pilots desire a pay raise, but they will not agree to one if it means the Nicolau Award is passed on to the company. All your comments are doing is fueling the fire to remove ALPA from the property.

Wilson polling says they will and I've had experience with Comstock. The polling is dead-on. USAPA knows this and is afraid.

And as for fueling fire, I doubt more than 20 east guys read this board. All I'm doing is educating you guys and keeping somewhat in touch with reality.

Tough job, but it looks like I'm getting through.

Using Junebug as the representative of the average AWA pilot is like using USA320Pilot as the average AAA pilot. Neither person would be an accurate representation of an entire pilot group as would using either you or I.

Hmmm, something so important as pay parity and all your leadership does is put up a mobile billboard? Oh well.

Me thinks you are about to be bought and your reps know this.
