My opinion though still stands that there should be less guns out there, and I mean it in a way of people CHOOSING not to have one, versus someone trying to take it away from them.

I once lived with two roommates that got into a heated argument right outside my locked bedroom door. Turns out one of them had a gun. When I opened the door, that is what I had in front of my eyes; the one guy holding the gun on the other guy's head. That was also the first time I became aware of the fact that the one guy had the gun. Needless to say, I moved out rather quickly and unannounced.

The fact is that you don't know who has a gun out there, and is about to loose it as well. Having lived in other continents, I must say that I feel safer where I believe that most people don't have a gun. If they get pissed, or loose it, I'd rather have them without a gun.

I understand though if that concept is very foreign in this country.

Yep. Nothing screws up your day more than losing a button in Sao Paolo, and the nearest department store doesn't open before you're supposed to be face to face with a client.

You could always ask us AA pilots if you could borrow one of our Members Only jackets for the meeting :D

Well, the way it's going, that will be the standard layover clothes in a few years.

I've heard Eagle can't fill their new hire classes, even with the dregs.

Another example of how guns destroy lives: http://www.cnn.com/2012/12/14/us/connecticut-school-shooting/index.html?c=mobile-homepage-t
