267 shares? What a joke!

Better than my 252 that's no way close to what I was predicting not real happy

Woo Hoo! 271 shares! It figures that they would hit the ground running by screwing us like they always do. Thanks TWU...

Remember, it is around HALF what you will eventually get. But of course, you all knew that because you have been reading all the readily available information.

I just checked my JP Morgan/Computershare account.

305 shares. I guess we get half of that today and the rest at the company's mercy.
Market value right now is unavailable due to the market is still closed.
Ready to buy that new dream home soon.

The letter I received from APFA said that I would get 21 shares...
I ended up with 338.
The letter you received mentioned the word HYPOTHETICAL no less than 6 times. It also used the grand total of new American shares at 200,000. Which is less than Tommy Boy Horton is probably getting as the door gets to push him out. If you really bought you were getting 21 shares, then you didn't pay attention to any information that is out there, especially on here. Amazing. AA said they were issuing around 544 MILLION shares to AA parties. We'll more than 200.000.

Thanks IORFA for making me sound like an idiot.

I was fully aware that the 21 shares that the letter from APFA was "HYPOTHETICAL"

Most of the numbers of "HYPOTHETICAL" shares I was hearing from F/A's was between 10 to 17.
I believe that the bulk of the F/A corps are not going to be happy when they find out that they are getting
a lot less than they though.

Per the NASDAQ pre market Value the AAL common stock was $23.61, with a high of $24.25.

But the number of shares we all had heard thru the rumor mill was Higher.

We are supposed to get 55% of our total and then get distributions throughout the 120 days.

The Value in your account from what I was told will be the after tax allotment.

So I guess OUR share isn't what we thought.

We can always ask the TWU what our shares are and the value.
They will revise what we are suppose to get. I heard an average of $15,000 for a 15 yr. employee. Now it may end up being less. We will just have to wait until the market opens and check our accounts. I figure by the time the market closes we will all see how much we actually have. Not looking forward to see that number.

239 shares at $5664 market value is a real joke...with 30 plus years ???
Where is my at least half of $23,000?
