The folks on the phone are quite vague...they say they pay outside the US, but don't say what, or how much. I read through the entire 45 page policy, and being written in legalese, it's not much help, either. Paying premiums all the way back to age 55 is quite a chunk to put into the plan if indeed it is not going to be useful for expat retirees.

"Maybe" I've known some of our "new" comrades at AA since they were "butterbars" in baby bird school. Some of them were even students of mine at a point in time. "Maybe" I flew with some later in operational squadrons during more trying circumstances than some idiotic seniority squabble.
