I've long wondered why it's taken so very, very long for some mighty "spartan"...umm..."pilot" to finally and properly show the whole world just who's who and what's what against even some pitifully aged, evil eastie. I mean seriously folks...ten years now without so much as even a single mighty "spartan"..umm.."soldier"/"battle"-tested"knight" or even "dire wolf" on this thread EVER actually coming forth?
 
Heck; we've even recently seen 53cactusboy bragging about riding a Harley (my very heart almost skipped a beat at such an AWAsome feat)....but evidently not nearly so arrogant about the thought of ever having to actually and really Fly an aircraft.

This is an example of the response you get from someone that cannot come up with a reasonable rebuttal to the argument. This is what not to do children, so please don't allow desperate Dave to lead you to think it is the example of what to do. And puhleeze stop with the legalese cut and paste; it has gotten you nothing and will continue to get you nothing.
At this point even if you get the nic you have lost the war. And even if you get the nic you will still be a junior old fart.

I just can't figure out what he is doing. Displaying his fine cut, copy, paste skills? Stuff all the way back to the year 2000. For what? So he can say "I told you so!" when he gets his Nic?

I think your last line sums it up. Being right will be his pyrrhic victory.

The only way that could have happened absent the America west merger was God himself delegating the former US Air as immune to reality, or their reality.
I don't fault that pilot for where they are, I just don't understand why that same pilot doesn't realize that his position is garnered from the detriment of his fellow pilot, in this case, an AWA pilot, through no control of his own, has allowed that pilot all the benefits of where we are.
He is only there because of the merger, us/awa merger.
Nobody can claim we or they saved the other, but it's clear, without that old merger, things would be drastically different, for all parties.

The problem with some west guys, and George Nicolau, is that the same applied to AWA. There is no way AWA was going through 2005-2009 unscathed. Period. But the Nic would have allowed just that. West pilots would have been cushioned by the east pilots attrition. It shifted upward movement from east to west. Again, no way around it.

There has not been enough growth on the east to put a guy that sits beside you on the Nic in the same relative position as you but in the other seat. As a matter of fact, would it surprise you to know that we have fewer group 2 and 3 captains today than we did in 2005?

Doesn't matter. The film is in the can and we are just waiting for the premiere and reviews.

No my friend, just know a little about the industry and able to read an annual report. Everyone but SWA filled chip 11, and AWA was no SWA. Your 2 hubs were two of the hardest hit hubs in the Great Recession. It's not brain surgery.

You've never been one of the to keep your mouth shut. You were one of the few westies to state that the USAPA money you will receive will be a war chest. So, you building your case will all the cut and paste? Is that why you won't answer about sanctions, because the real answer is "not yet." ?

This kid is the most non-humble individual I've ever seen. At least we were able to force him and his buddies to stick to the agreement!

And a few of those junior to him on furlough from AWA came East, took advantage of the HUGE East attrition and are now flying the A330 and far out-earning EVERY Fish-Bowl-based F/O.  Truly brilliant, CB.  Give us some more cut-and-paste ancient history  (like anyone at all is even reading it) to massage your pathetic little ego.
