Wow! That from some punk that seeks entirely artificially advanced "seniority" to even the extent of usurping as much as 17 actually worked years of others?...Sometimes, words just fail me....

Bean: "in this case, an AWA pilot"...? Well, "fellow pilot"; I must now suppose that coming from the utter dregs of even just the commercial aviation "community", that for the most part no other airlines would actually hire, "you'se" should now magically be afforded some "Affirmative Action"/minority status? Perhaps that "you'se" couldn't actually get any better job than AWA should be properly considered as an established "disability"? I'll confess I can see some basis for that argument.

Does the fact that a guy has 17 years at his company suddenly become super senior on additional aircraft?

What the hell are you talking about?

Sigh..Don't overly stress the vast extent of your demonstrated "intellect" in even attempting any understanding there kid.

We've been over the "couldn't get hired anywhere else" argument before.

NO AIRLINE WAS HIRING!

I''ve never seen ANY time when "NO AIRLINE WAS HIRING!" Face it kid: AWA was the best you could personally do.

You can't seem to comprehend my point

Elucidate further then, purely for the sake of the unwashed ignorant like myself, since I can't see any evidence that you actually have any "point" to offer....?

"NO AIRLINE WAS HIRING!" hardly seems any basis for establishing your "point", unless it's your free admission that AWA didn't even qualify as an "AIRLINE" for starters....?

It's understandable.

I've flown with many "retirement overreach test pilots" and seen the repercussions of flying with those close to 65.

It's legitamely uncharted territory.

This is all new data for everyone.

Deadheaded on a Mesa flight home tonight and honestly felt safer than I do when deadheading on an east crewed plane!

Sigh...Child? Perhaps you would best prefer to see "the repercussions of flying with those close to 65" in a much more immediately personal venue? Wager's always open punk.

Per: "Deadheaded on a Mesa flight home tonight" I've no doubt you felt right at home there. ;)

Do you believe a 17 year never been furloughed pilot should be able to advance his position off the back of a one year new hire?

Seriously?..."advance his position off the back of a one year new hire?"..."advance his position" regarding a pilot with already 17 years actually worked/flown versus a new hire? You're clearly just joking here...Right?
