From a letter sent by Doug Parker:

“We have determined that the list submitted meets these criteria, so the company will accept the submitted list.”

Doug Parker wrote what he wrote, but you assumed he meant something he did not...

Its time for a grammar lesson...

Parker wrote the  company "will" accept the list...  He did not write the company "has accepted" the list..

Details. Details.  Details.  When exactly "will" the company accept the list?

All this time you have been saying "The company has accepted the list."

Brush up on your grammar.  Learn the difference between "future" tense and "present perfect" tense.

Fishy, Fishy, you are in the Fish Bowl School for a reason.

Try to keep up.

Funny how once again our recollections of historic fact differ.

I remember ALPA VP Paul Rice personally hand delivering the Nic to Doug Parker, who "accepted" the list at that time.

I don't recall there being any "will accept" with that handshake.

You had probably forgotten that fact, as you were likely busy starting up a scab union and missed the ceremony altogether.

We went through this before junior.  Pay attention to the details.

Try to keep up!

He was just one of the many that fell pray to the lies of Ferguson, Koontz and the former PHX rep CB53.........simple minds are easy to sway.

If they had only listened to Blomgren, he was spot on.

An F/A friend of mine flew to Europe last week.  She had the most insane non-rev story that I have ever heard.

A non-rev and his wife were seated in A330 business.  He polished off close to a bottle of wine.  After service had finished and most passengers were sound asleep, one of the F/As walked up the left aisle to the galley and was stunned by what she saw.  The non-rev was standing in the hallway next to the 1L lav, urinating on the cockpit door and adjacent area.

The F/A said she gasped and blurted out, "What are you doing?"  The non-rev turned to the side, still holding his willie, and gave her a glassy look.  He clumsily reinserted himself into his pants and she shooed him back to his seat.  As she did, he mumbled to her that he had taken Ambien.

The shocked F/A called the purser forward and explained the situation.  The purser was livid and decided that there would be hell to pay.  She gathered all the information for her report.

The flight crew wrote up the soiled cabin area in the logbook.  When they reported for duty the next day, the agents told them that the return trip had taken a delay as the British Airways contract mechanics had arranged for a thorough carpet cleaning.

The purser's report could well have ended the career of this non-rev.  His behavior and use of the drug Ambien were even more shocking when the crew found out that the non-rev was a legacy US pilot.

Legacy US West that is, based in Phoenix.

Now here's the rest of the story.  The F/A told me that the purser never did report the incident to higher authority.  And the reason is that she was talked out of it on the return trip to Philly by the very compassionate East captain.  He'll never get any credit for it, but this Eastie probably saved the career of a very lucky West pilot.

When the west posters are quiet on this forum, it usually means present happenings do not bode well for them.

There are many west pilots that have been banned from this board, there are twice as many who have experienced the realization of current events.

"Coulda, shoulda, woulda".

The west insisting on the nic or nothing and the the legacy american pilots "we are superior" imperialistic attitudes,  will not be rewarded by the MB Board of Arbitration.

Someone else has already spilled the beans, more people know about it than you think. The crosshairs are already on this idiot. Venice.

One glitch in the scenario:

How was the delay explained?  If it hasn't already, it WILL require a written report.  The company does not look kindly on anyone, including revenue customers, for causing flight delays due to misbehavior.

I doubt this pilot is "home free" on this.  If the company investigates and senses any kind of evasion, all 12 crew members will be interviewed.  All 12 will NOT cover for this idiotic employee.

Is this a real story or you guys making stuff up. No one would behave like.
Ambien and alcohol are a potent combination. Once mixed, normal behavioral inhibantants are removed. The true primal desires are allowed to happen. Cactuspilot1 had an avatar of a boy urinating on an object. Were the inhibitions of Snapthis/Eastcheats/ Cactuspilot 1 lowered to the point where he actually carried out his desire to urinate on his most primal and frontal frustration? He had passed on the Nic 10 years ago. Now he finds himself in first class of a plane he aches to fly, piloted by pilots who have successfully denied his attempts to steal their jobs. The natural and animal reaction is to urinate on the closest obstacle to those pilots. The door, the symbolic denial of his entire being. Of course Nonic4us is a suspect immediately, but this urinary attack on an Airbus 330 cockpit door merits closer attention. Nonic4us is a suspect, but she is a mere 320 frustrated angry F/O.
This situation is far more complex.
One wonders where this goes next.

My friend said this incident was all the buzz in A West crew room the other day.  She flew another trip with the same purser and she denied reporting it.  They think the flight attendant who witnessed the act ratted out the Westie to the f/a supervisors.

If I had to guess where this goes, I would say that some time off and a hims/rehab program might be the best solution.

I hate to see anyone lose their job.  There is not one of us who doesn't know someone who's life has been blighted by substance abuse.  Hopefully the apa reps are already bringing in the wingman people to help.

If the pilot has no previous history of substance abuse, he might not even lose his job over this.  If he does, the union will likely get it back.

But I would wager he will be without a paycheck for at least several months while the dust settles and he takes up residence in a substance abuse facility.

Thank you "Dr. Clax".

It's quiet...........too quiet!

It's really boring, after all the east west saga keeps this board going with over 800,000 posts overall and close to that for out little disagreement with the west.........maybe the moderators can release any and all held in the cornfield to liven things up again.........just a suggestion.

Quiet.  Yeah.

Who has even bothered to read the last arbitration filings?  Even the last die hards are figuring out that it was all just a boring show, and the arbitrators were just playing their boring part.  The arbitration solution was known from the beginning, but it had to play out in time.

There will be a little more excitement when the list comes out but most everyone will move on without much fuss.

Some will never let it go and will still be wearing their tattered 30 year old Liberty tie in 2036 after everyone else is retired.

Yawn.
