Not hardly.  What that absurdly childish tie "means" is that "you'se" feel no sane reluctance against "proudly" parading yourselves around as nothing more than clueless little kids/spoiled brats in extremis, without the slightest sense of just exactly what sort of "fashion statement" you're actually making in attempting to subsume even "Lady Liberty" for purely your own selfish purposes. I suppose that should come as no surprise since you felt strangely, somehow "entitled" to pretend yourself an "Army" of "spartan solders" at even Thermopylae under "Leonidas" himself...Right? No matter.  I'll have to hazard a wild guess that France didn't gift the Statue of Liberty to us in hopes of her much later serving as an "heroic" emblem for a strange little cabal of worthless, self-styled "spartan" punks "righteously" hoping to artificially advance themselves over others,...through no personal efforts/achievements or merit of their own, of course. Perhaps you could generously take a moment to expound on just how "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free..." in ANY way supports the greed-soaked fantasies of a handful of infantile idiots who's only "noble" goal is to seat themselves 17 years ahead of people who've honestly worked-for and actually earned their positions, and through what utterly incredible arrogance "you'se" punks would even presume to usurp a world recognized emblem of Freedom for nothing greater than your own petty, personal BS?

If anyone can honestly control their spontaneous laughter at: "They brought in a new agent who told me Director Freeh had personally directed him to fly to SA and administer the polygraph" just by that nonsense alone, well, unless we generously assume that "Director Freeh had personally directed him to fly to SA and administer the polygraph"... why not equally fantasize himself to be both previously undesirable by the FBI, but yet somehow, so hugely "important" as to warrant the personal interest and clearly utmost concerns of "Director Freeh"...? Words just fail me any further....Save for perhaps "that poor boy just ain't right in the head"....
 
AWA did nothing in the way of intelligence testing or psych evals, and the product of that....well, wannabe FBI agents and self-styled "spartan soldiers" in the purely Fantasyland "army of leonidas", I suppose....

The problem, just like last time, is not all the parties will agree on what is fair, or if the result is fair.  Particularly when none of the committees are going to get anywhere near their ask.
 
The Nic award is fair.  From my perspective, Nicolau gave the east far more than they deserved.  Yet, you think it is a travesty, a miscarriage of justice that you were not allowed to take your overinflated sense of self worth and leapfrog your position above West pilots with far more seniority than yourself.
 
Sorry your bubble was burst, but the Nic is more than fair.  The outcome of the current SLI will be fair, and odds are you will sulking like a toddler who wakes up Christmas morning to find a Raggedy Andy doll instead of his desired GI Joe with the kung fu grip!

Oh wait..apparently, only scant moments later: "the Nic is" indeed "more than fair."?

If the Nic is harmful to anyone now then the arbs will have to have some justification to deviate from their integrity (that you cling to yourself) to impose harm instead of fairness.

I lost seniority in the Nic.
 
I would have come out somewhat better had we negotiated a contract or two and improved our wages, instead of a scab union forcing separate ops.
 
As it were, I made around $250,000 more than my east counterpart, took 170 days more vacation, lived in the best domicile,,guess I did come out ahead!!!

You make a false assumption.
 
The truth is the Nic "was" not harmful then, and "is" not harmful now...to anyone.  
 
So, the arbs use of the Nic cannot impose harm on anyone.  Using the Nic is no different than using three list, combining two (in very much the same order as Nic, cause the West still had better pay and career earnings expectations thanks to the scab union), then slotting into the third.
 
Oh, and it is to this day ....the Nic is the only accepted system seniority list that ranked the LCC pilots.
