Correction:  Had you succeeded in a DOH cramdown you would have cleaned our clocks.  The whole fishbowl thing is a setback and I believe any final integration without your beloved DOH will be success on our part in the clock cleaning.

Last time we checked we still have DOH.......and sure the BOA will not use DOH we all know that but surely you know the NIC will never see the light of day either.



You kids really gave up so much over the last ten years, your leadership really led you kids in the wrong direction.

I know I've lost, really.  It's been tough and it will continue to be tough for me, especially every time I think about my east bidding mate next to me on our seniority list at FOS, hired on the east 12 years ahead of me.  Every time I think about that guy and his long, hard fight against the west, I will think about how he's won.  Everything,  Even with his last couple of years before retirement he's a group 2 captain and I'm a few years away from Group 4 captain, I will think about how he has won the lottery.  

Well it's good to see reality setting in and you have accepted it, yes Furguson and Koontz led you astray.......if I remember right you guys were offered the NIC at Wye River.......with us protecting our retirements..........oh well we can't change the past only learn from it.

AWA was never anything more than an infected little pimple on the arse of the industry. Indulge in whatever misplaced delusions of grandeur "you'se" wish to the contrary, but that's the truth of things.
 
In fairness though, with the procession of AWA management to American Airlines; AWA might now be diagnosed as a cancer.
 
P.S. Per "Well....Parker & his team"? Did they issue "you'se" the "traditional" company tu tu's and AWA-struck worshiper's knee pads, or did you have to actually pay for them from your own pocket? Do give "Parker & his team" my best the next time "you'se" are personally invited to any of their mansions...Moron.

Yep.  The "infected pimple" is the only reason you still have a job.  Best safety record in the industry.  Some of the best work rules in our contract.  Great place to work.  This east coast pilot would not even consider applying to US Airways when he left the military because of the dismal condition of that "infected pimple".  AWA was a great place to work until you came along.

Why was cactusboy53 suspended from posting?  Could it be he was saying the truth, quoting judges, facts, etc.  On a board owned by the east it is clear that the east just can't handle the truth.

Maybe he had a breakdown, reading a lot of his past posts I'd be worried about him.

The east does not have a DOH list.  The east list is the result of prior mergers, some of which did not go DOH.
 
You are obviously ignorant of your own circumstance, and likely about to be upset over the outcome of the current SLI due to your own ignorance.
 
 
We are all lucky to be here.  The east is a bit luckier, in that a scab union's actions have brought them some fleeting benefit at a huge cost in income.

The Nic was not offered at Wye, and I for one am eternally grateful that the West ALPA reps in attendance allowed the east reps to stagnate in their self induced LOA93 shiithole for an entire decade.
 
Only cost the average east pilot $400,000 plus 170 days of lost vacation.  Oh well, we can certainly learn from the past and move past the SLI this time!

The Nic already has seen the light of day.  Two merger committees used it in their proposals.  Only the east MC did not use the Nic in their proposal that runs counter to McCaskill/Bond and the 9th's ruling.  Surely you know the east proposal is the least likely to get any consideration.
 
When the merger happened in 2005, I was a line holding A320 captain making about $40k/yr more than an east A320 captain.  Today, I am an A320 line holding captain making about $15k/yr more than my east counterpart due to work rule differences.  Of course I lost potential income due to the scab union, but in the big picture, exactly what have I given up in the last 10 years?

Let's see what it's like a year from now.  When it is all said and done you wil not have gotten DOH.  West pilots would have been screwed ten years ago had we not stood up for ourselves.  It will all work out in the long run, which will affect the remainder of your careers.  I would rather be in the fishbowl than integrated by DOH.  I do admit I am lucky to be here.  I love my job and the people I work with.

The conversational level within "sparta" must be truly scintillating.....To their current credit though; there have been very few postings containing "Dude" lately. The social exchange rate value of one "bazinga" might well be two or three "Dude"s though...One would have to speak their language to know for sure.
