You guys wearing AOL patriotic ties do realize that as of March 11th, which is tomorrow, only company ties and patriotic ties from the company store are authorized to be worn while in uniform. Make sure you put those expensive ones away in a safe place. Welcome to the New American.

Yes, this was told to my F/O in CLT a few days ago. He was wearing a flag tie but not one from the American store. It looked pretty close though. A flight attendant on the trip got a message on sign in to go to her supervisor. Turned out it was for a uniform check.
Anyone else look into the Supplemental Insurance? I am leaning towards doing it, but still not completely sold.

Sorry, I have not seen the memo.

I look forward to wearing my new Liberty tie.

You may want to pull up the latest uniform code. Regulation company issued necktie. Christmas the only exception.

Leonidas is already offering a nice wooden box with display glass for them so they can hang them on their office wall. Only $595.99

I think I already made it clear that I did not see the memo.

Wye River: ALPAs Last Stand

Nice walk down memory lane.  I had forgotten all about that "chopped up ballots" fiasco.  Was ALPA aware that 3,100 were replaced in 10 days?  That should have made the final vote clear to anyone without his/her head up his/her butt.

I would probably do it if I was not going to expatriate in retirement.  Probably a reasonable deal for those who will get most of their health care via Medicare.  The lack of reliable information for expats regarding the Supplement makes me nervous about plunking down several grand for an unknown process.

Arbitrators tend to favor the work of other arbitrators and reject the work of non-arbitrators such as Jess Pauley as noted in the mini-arb.

Judges as well as noted in my signature line.

Yes.  Maybe they will refer to Arbitrator Bloch's well-reasoned and factual award and discount the wild rantings of Nicolau.  Who knows?

What does it say about white socks?

You are going to have to stop wearing white socks on your ears.  Sorry.

We know you like to show everyone what an independent "thinker" you are, but that's just too weird even for the Purple Tutu guy.
