I guess closing LGA and PIT served to help the bottom line as well.
Here's the fallacy with your attempt at an intelligent analogy: the time removed because of the closure of pit and lga was for the most part increased in PHL, DCA, and CLT. The time lost in LAS was not recovered. In fact, the west pilots would have 25% of their group furloughed now if the east wouldn't have given them east routes.

"Your lucky to be here"..hmmm
You're missing an apostrophe.
That happens sometimes, but "you're" missing the NIC.

Do you feel really stupid not taking the NIC when we offered, were you even on the property at that time.

"According to our reports, on Day One of Wye River, Jeff Freund warned the West MEC that if USAPA won, the West risked losing everything. He urged reaching an agreement. He was gone on Day Two."

Hey hey, the T man is back, can't find anything better to do in retirement. How's the WX in SAN.

I drop by from time to time checking on the lunatic fringe. Nothing has changed for 8 years or so........SOS different day...

Very busy in retirement. Between my 42' SeaRay at Harbor Island, my late model Beechcraft Bonanza 36 at Montgomery Field, and the ski condo at Mammoth, I find little time for much else.

And the weather is superb in America's finest city, thanks for asking.

I never saw the memo I had to be in full uniform for training. If I did, I would wear my Liberty tie.
I can guarantee you don't have the stones to wear that liberty tie in the clt training center. I double dog dare you. No-one has seen one there yet.

I bet that PHX training center will be shut down within 24 months. Bank on it, March 2017, come on prechill lets get a countdown clock going!

Oh by the way, when new hires do Indoc in PHX, they tell us you guys have a lot of anger and hostility, why is that genius?

You must mean those USAPA routes.

It was generous of Mike Cleary and the East BPR to plug the hole for the West pilots when the LAS Domicile was closed.

I know from commuting with my West friends they are more than appreciative.

Oh no,......."Phoenix will be shrunk to serve 50 or so cities at max....it is a low-yielding hub...With a more bloated structure, the airline will be unable to support the same level of nonstops...PHX hub..."

The west pilots need to go after these guys........ Why won't any west pilots have the courage to TAKE RESPONSIBILITY?

"Our former MEC and our union leadership played a very high stakes game of poker by not dealing at Wye River. Freund was right, we were risking everything…..and right now, it looks like we lost. They need to take responsibility for that."

Your west friends that denied you jumpseat several times?
I was only denied once. And that was soon after USAPA became the CBA.

It is truly a shame that this all went down the way it did. Many very fine pilots and flight attendants on the West. Occasionally I would sense one or both pilots was not really happy to have an Eastie in their jumpseat, but nonetheless were professional enough to accommodate me ( and many other East commuters system wide).

More often than not, they would be extremely gracious and took the same care of me that I tried to extend to all my jumpseat riders over the years. As we all know, commuting is often a challenge, and I genuinely appreciated the ride from my hosts East, West, North or South.

I hope that AA adopts the current East J/S protocol, including not being bumped for weight. That provision has been essential in assuring me a ride over my 24 years of commuting.

I wore my Cactus badge backer in support of Leonidas while Skinner was in the Phoenix training center. What makes you think that I would take my Liberty tie off for a line check which may be conducted by an East pilot? I'll give your check airmen more credit you have. Do you think they are as shallow as you?

Why would we not be angry after being sh$t on by USAPA? There is no pilot group that would have tolerated being dumped on in the manner you have on the West. If more people were like two of your retirees, Bob and N924PS and less like you and EastUS, we'd get a merger completed.

Why would I care if the Phoenix training center closes? I'll get to wear my Liberty tie to training out East and there's not a thing you can do about it.

The Nic was never yours to "offer". Pauley isn't the "new Nicolau " either. Sorry Courtney, not only is the west going to confiscate decades of earnings from you, they are going to put you in your rightful, furloughed, twice bankrupt place. Behind Dave Odell.

About the same time, the PHX training center closes by 2017, at least one, and likely part of a second, concourse in PHX will be boarded up, a la PIT and DAY (did they board up any of LAS, too?)   It won't be any of the SWA concourses, either.

This violates the fiduciary standard. We have to ask: Who is controlling the class? Who is pulling the strings? And do they fairly represent the class?

One of the four Leonidas LLC directors is apparently now employed as an American Airlines pilot;\

Having Kevin Horner associated in any way with this DFR only hurts the effort. How can he adequately meet the fiduciary requirements to fairly represent the class? Our sources have told us that Kevin Horner’s current union, the APA, is furious with him for his participation in a DFR suit against another union.

The question is which list is Kevin Horner trying to get on.
