agree with both you   here we have been told we will be using them for all flights...   ho ho ho    one good thing on our side here is that we have a bunch of former Envoy and AA folks  with much experience  so hopefully all will go well on Dec 8th
It is true the scanners will be used for all AA and express flights. On the express flights the scanners are used primarily like our current scanners. It is only on the mainline AA flights where the scanners are used for the trip sheet, load plan and close out. Are they increasing the authorized head count in your station as a result of this insourcing of work? If so; are current US part time being offered permanent full time? Is your station a represented mainline AA station? are the former Envoy employees being given preferential interviews for future employment?

My station has not received the printed contract books. I'll check with my AGC. For the record... It was my understanding the printed contract books was the responsibility of the company. Not the union.

It is the companies responsibility to make sure contracts are printed. Having said that, they are printed and on their way to each station. We just received ours here in clt on Wednesday. So stations should be getting them soon

CB. Thanks for the update. We have not been updated by our AGC. Wondering when we will get copies. Standing by. Again... not the union's responsibility to make printed contracts available but the company's. If blame is to be assigned by those who post... one should make certain what party is responsible.

WE  can keep excepting excuses from the current D-141 Leadership or call them on things that are not being done for the Membership ? The books should have been distributed sooner . To many issues are not being handled correctly or in a timely manner by the current Leaders of D-141, to much horse trading with LR/Management , and to many Local deals that effect the rest of the  Membership . By the way for those on AF who don't know me I'm a GCM at SFO . Thank you for update and information that I will pass on to the SFO Membership. Have a happy/safe Turkey Day and for those working enjoy the 2x $ .

Unless you have been assigned to sit down and proof read a T/A, then I'm not sure I would be casting stones. I had the pleasure ( not really pleasure ) of helping some on proofing this T/a. I can tell you getting it printed and out by Thanksgiving is a pretty good job. One of the AGC,s was assigned to do this with the company, and I know how many hours he spent in doing this. It's very boring but needed work. You proofread and correct over and over again. You'll find misprints after the first then the second print and so on. Nothing to keep from the membership there. Not sure why you feel as such.

MB . I will refrain from any negative comments towards you good old  PI Boys  in D-141 IAM Leadership roles out of Respect, Solidarity, and Holiday Spirit. For now. Fish On ! Surfs Up ! on the West Coast. Now go shoot yourself a Turkey and fry it for your Members in CLT who will be working on Thanksgiving Day.

Lol. Ok brother. I was just trying to tell ya what a pain in the _ _ _ it was to proof read that thing. Then every time the company would print it and we would read it again, then something else would be missing or wrong. Don't know if you'll be fishing during Thanlsgiving, but hope you have a good one!!

refrain from any negative comments...  you have already cast the stone brother. You level meritless accusations and then back away. The surf may be up on the west coast but your level of education and solidarity is at low tide. You speak of respect and solidarity; while at the same time insinuating the District leadership is responsible for not having printed contracts. Insinuating the union is responsible for the final printed contract; demonstrates your lack of knowledge concerning this issue. Meritless posts, such as yours, have an adverse effect on solidarity. Do not proclaim respect for Leadership roles and solidarity; for based on your previous posts you have neither. Fish On! Surfs Up! Whatever!

Further, the "PI good ol' boys" comment was certainly meant to inflame and divide. The committees are well diversified and contain more than just PI members. Anyone that refuses to accept the fact Fleet Service will become even more diversified as the latest merger finalizes is living in the past. PSA is GONE... PI is GONE... America West is GONE... US Airways is GONE...

There is only ONE dynamic to focus on!

CB you guys did a very good job at getting those printed copies of your contract ready in a timely manner. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. We ratified our BK agreement on 9/12/12 and still have not gotten printed copies of our contract yet. Yes it is in our contract too that those are supposed to be provided by the company. Supposedly it's because there are still some outstanding issues in regards to the BK that can effect changes to the language. I still feel those books could have been printed and distributed though and the language changed later when completed? I think our leadership has not pressed the issue though since it could cause confusion with those future changes?

Aside from that though to those who want to complain that they don't have a hard copy. Copies of all Fleet contracts in the industry can be easily obtained online in the interim and if needed it's not difficult to print the particular page you might need if there has been a violation of your contract. Yes it is momentarily a little inconvenient but the information is readily available.
