Hate to piss on your party Tim and Josh; but I believe the members could give at rat's arse about what you are talking about. I believe they see your posts as politics. Continual posturing for the next election. You two are like negative campaign ads, leading up to an election, that we are forced to view. I believe your continual posts of attacking other posters on this forum are scrolled past in search of pertinent information. One thing is certain... your posts promote division rather than unification. When unification and solidarity, among the combined membership should be a priority, the two of you continue an agenda of division. Members from both the TWU and the IAM please be advised. There are snakes in the woodpile. I have asked in past posts, for the sake of solidarity and educating the membership on both sides at this critical time, that posters refrain from such divisive posts. Please be advised; certain posters on this forum, in no way speak for the majority of the membership. The quote "the members wanna know" is hollow, meritless and should be seen as politically motivated. Again... can we move on to meaningful dialogue? Again... How many times must one face rejection and defeat, before the membership, until they realize the membership wants no part of their politically motivated and hollow campaign promises? cargo have you folks in your station started using the new scanner the AA scanner which is capable of pulling the trip sheet? if so is it fairly easy to use? We may be starting to use them in the next 3 or so weeks but no one seems to know.

Yes. First to be trained on them were the current leads. On mainline AA flights the scanner is used to pull trip sheets, load plan, weight and balance and eventually closing out the flight. According to AA policy you must be Crew Chief qualified to perform this scanning... which is another 5 or so electronic courses that must be completed. These must be completed before you're issued a sign in code for the scanner. I've been told the scanners, like anything else, are pretty easy to use once you get familiar with them.robbedagain said:

agree with both you here we have been told we will be using them for all flights... ho ho ho one good thing on our side here is that we have a bunch of former Envoy and AA folks with much experience so hopefully all will go well on Dec 8th
AF IAM US/AW FS READERS and POSTERS. Where are the Members CBA Contract Books ? We ratified the CBA in July. It's almost Dec. ? Another reason why so many Members don't trust or get involved with our UNION ? The Apathy , Rumors, Ignorance , and Mis -Trust will continue until the IAM figures out its the 21st Century. Leaders becomes less Political and better Communicators for the Membership. Happy Holidays. Happy New Year . CHEERS !
