Again I agree. I'm not sure (without looking at the entire JCBA) if I would vote no if the IAMPF is the ONLY option and our match was poof up in smoke. Especially for senior guys near retirement already I'd 100% understand them voting NO even if it was only on principle alone.

But I keep saying I don't "THINK" that's going to happen? I really don't think anyone would be able to sell the IAMPF as a standalone retirement vehicle. I don't even think Fleet would go for it all by itself? So that's also why I don't think we'll see that fall on our desks. Why would either Union or the Company want to waste any of our time?

BTW even if the Unions want there to be those options of choice they still have to get the Company to agree to those choices.

A lot of you out there keep forgetting that this Association is NOT the sole decision makers.

In fairness, Albert, the union hasn't come out and said there wouldn't be a choice and they haven't come out and said frozen pension will be gobbled up. That hasn't stopped the hysteria.

Don't believe they would tip their position on the issue considering it is still an open item for negotiations.

By the way, we have been asked to confirm the July timeframe for the Tentative Agreement that the Weez and his handlers have been spreading.

The IAMNPP argument takes a different slant if there was a market meltdown that causes a large decrease in someone's portfolio.

It should be choice for those of us on the clock, but I'd guess it would not be a choice for those not yet on the clock.
