How can we as mainline employees fight off the likes of WN when we have to fight off our own management?Everything is the employees fault, the management team does no wrong. It is sad to say,but US Airways is looking alot like Eastern did in the Eighties.History has a way of repeating itself,I hope I am wrong, but as for the way that things are going now,I cannot see us in busines very much longer .Siegle is a real idiot!

Bob,

Do you really think Dave was successful in getting us through the BK and court process? If it were not for labor, there would be no ATSB guarantee approval, NO DIP financier, NO Billions of dollars worth of concessions from all of labor to prove to the gov. backers and RSA that the business plan would work.

So, that brings us to Labor who approved of such a plan.

So, if labor were convinced by Dave to concede to all of this, than one would have to deduce how was it that Dave was able to be a success at getting labor to concede?

Then you would have to be smacked by reality in retrospect that it was all under false pretenses, misrepresentation of who management was and what they told us they hoped to accomplish for our futures. And that reality was all under much threats, intimidation, exaggeration, and half truths.

The doors remained open because Dave's reputation was on the line, and he was saving his own job as well. And may I add, a well-paid one at that.

So success is a "relative" term.

THAT MY FREIND, IS WHAT DAVE WAS ABLE TO ACCOMPLISH. Put a feather in his cap for that!
