I'm really pretty surprised they haven't done it yet. I mean, they matched the fares the very first day, but they haven't bothered to tell anybody that. If a tree falls in the forest and nobody is around to hear it... They should have issued a press release announcing the fare match and triple miles last week, to take some of the wind out of Southwest's sails. The longer they wait, the more I think it looks like they're not even trying.

i believe they are using the same model that was implemented in BWI. :shock:
 
I think US is starting to come out of the woodwork. With the baggage system upgrade, the buy 3 online get one free offer..I don't think US will make a big deal of the fares until they can simplify the model.
 
Come on Guys and Gals..........Marketing is doing a great job with Press Releases...........





Maybe just Maybe some day we might actually have a Marketing Department.......

You got to be kidding!!!! I hope they are:
1. full good tasting meals on all flights!
2. Smilling front serving personell guaranted at your service!
3. PTVs!
4. simplier fare structures!
When U gets these things in order THEY WILL ROCK SOUTHWESTS WORLD!!!
too bad these things require low costs and $$$$$$$$$$$$$ and U does not have those things now.
 
I for one would like to see a strengthening at ISP rather than a retreat--it's harder to get a seat now with only 4 buzz buckets (an affectionate term) a day r/t. ISP-CLT would be nice too!
 
hope777: what marketing department are you talking about--the SWA one or the walmart one? we all know that usairways hasnt had a real marketing department
since well since they decided to destroy the bwi hub, the west coast, the florida shuttle and so forth!!!!!!

Seems this poster, "Itrade" uses sarcasm with a contradictory statement in his signature.

Sure glad that is not the case in my signature, no sarcasm here, no bones to pick here, just a true and bias free signature.
