The situation at Usairways would be amusing if it were'nt for the fact that so many people's lives and careers are being turned upside down.. It's obvious the ARBITRATION case the company is pushing against the IAM is the LOGJAM that is preventing any meaningful dialogue between the company and ALL the unions on the property.. Yes, I'm sure everyone has heard about ALPA negotiating with the company, [They are willing take MORE concessions on the condition that every other union agrees to concessions]. I find it amusing that the company expects the IAM to negotiate BEFORE the ruling on the ARBITRATION case is known.....It's obvious that the COMPANY is the reason why there are no meaningful negotiations taking place today.

Make that "Piss Poor Management" AND too many of them!!!!! Why in Pit line mtc is the manager and supervisor staffing still at the same levels when U controlled A,B & parts of C concourse's? Now there are only mainline flights on 3/4 of B concourse and 1 international flight out of C. 9 or so mechanics a shift PLUS 3 foreman and 1 manager? What is wrong with this picture? They promote a manager in HVY and they replace him with two managers......just cannot understand the thinking...but I forget I am an IAM member and am "confused"......

This is just another, of the many, many, examples of why the company needs to clean up it's own mess, before coming to labor and singing the blues about wage cuts and give backs.

We have like 60 less utility and 40 less mechanics on Charlotte Line and they added more management jobs.

We have a total of 4 utility foreman, 15 mtc foreman, 4 managers and one director.

Funny how they added all these management jobs and we have less people then ever before.

Piss Poor Mgmt IS JUST THE START>>

Couldn't have said it better!!

CLEAN HOUSE AND START WITH LESS>>>WE ARE>>>

Speaking as a union member, Id rank lazy union members who hide behind cloaks..... up there with past poor management.....

........I bet your fellow f/a's really enjoy working with you. Calling them lazy ? Every flight attendent I know works hard for a living.

Past Poor Management????????

Ive been there 22 yrs and havent seen anything change as far as management is concerned. They keep hiring more chiefs, most with little knowledge, and then get rid of knowledged rank and file. They need to learn to listen to their front line employees who see and handle these problems everyday.
