I dont work as a mechanic anymore. Any number I gave you would be a guess. 40 + min? Maybe there are parts of the comapany I didnt work in (Shops, overhaul, MOCC,etc) where it might be feasable.I would agree in a smaller enviroment it could work. I know its popular in academic circles.

Did this top management tell you what the "Plan " was in detail? Please ! Who was your resource. If he she gives away top secret info maybe we can get some stock info!

If and only if the rumor is true, I would have to assume the company would want somewhere around 25%. I am at the bottom 30% which would take me to approx. $8.90 an hour. I could go to McDonalds and make more than that. If that happens, I'll be saying fare well. Like I've said many times before, it's not worth it. Yet, the company will have senior agents left making up to $20.05 an hour!?! What sense does that make? Perhaps we could have used the merit bonuses to offer or fund some early outs.

IMO, this company is preparing to shut down and I'll bail before that happens; however, I'll stick around to vote "NO" the third time.
