 Thanks for moving all the blanter about the TWU/AMFA to another area. I was personally getting tired of the fight. Now about the TWU/AGW... <_<
That's the next fight for the TWU. There is already a lot getting started here at DFW and ORD.

I seriously doubt the TWU will be able to hold on to anyone. The leaders just can't seem to quit lying and deceiving, it's just in their blood!!!!

Sorry for the ignorance of AA union business, but which group is AGW going after (and what does AGW stand for?) Thanks.
Scot

Thanks for the update.

I dont understand the correlation you're trying to make between this BB and PlaneBusiness, but everyone is still FREE to post here about TWU/AMFA (and it appears they are) on the Mechanic and Utility Board. The main reason the threads were moved is that of the 53 threads on the AA board since Oct 11, at least 23 of them dealt directly with the AMFA/TWU debate and many contained the same postings over and over. It was an effort to get the AA board back to something other than the AMFA/TWU Board. Please feel free to add your union debate comments on the Mechanic and Utility Board.
Thanks.
Scot

Scott, just for arguments sake, are you saying that now, out of the remaining 30 threads 12 of them are about management, pilot, or F/A groups you will find them in contempt and move them to another area?

Another question I have now, is it against the rules to post a link to another site such as the one RV4 had to Deleted by Moderator Forum that you deleted?

I do know there was a pilot complaining about AMFA supporters posting here and there may have been more but, this makes some of us question whether or not this is a true public forum!

The same worthless arguements were made on PlaneBusiness when they moved the AMFA vs TWU debate.

Just move on to another bulletin board that will not send you to a deserted corner of their offerings!

Take the move as a hint. Yes let's move the AMFA vs. TWU debate, but to another board! <_<

USAviation becomes one of the "top 100 aviation" sites, using our involvement stats, and this is the thanks we get? I say drop their stats, go somewhere else and post your opinions.

Scot as you read each of the threads, you will notice that amfa, agw, pafca are all UNION BUSTERS. They are backed by other UNION BUSTERS.

Bravo for moving the AMFA-TWU threads to an topic that actually PERTAINS to them. Ever hear the saying "Didn't see the forest for the trees"? Prior to this action, one might have thought that all it takes to get AA back on track is to vote out the TWU and install AMFA. Then - presto - profitiablity returns, esprit de corps is established and AA is once again a force to be reckoned with. Yeah, there are some threads about pilots and FA's. But there were a BUNCH of topics that had NOTHING to do with American Airlines, save for the fact that the TWU represents mechanics at AA. Sort of a "six degrees of separation" kind of thing.

ANd this is what gets me - all these posts that are unrelated to American Airlines are clogging up the AA board, when someone posts ANYTHING about the overall situation of AA on one of those threads, they are blasted because they are not mechanics and don't understand the issue at hand. They are then told that if they don't like them, ignore them. Finally, they are given the ultimate insult...they are a shill for the TWU. Oliver Stone couldn't do any better in this "Everybody's out to lie about the AMFA" posts. Trouble was, finding a post that WASN'T TWU v AMFA was kind of like panning for gold - if you're lucky you'd find a nugget amidst all the mud. I can assure you that you guys can post all you want about mechanic related issues and I won't head over to the mechanic and related issues boards. That's my way of "ignoring" those threads, and I applaud the moderators for moving those posts to a board that is more appropriate.

It wasnt just a pilot complaining and MOST of the posts had nothing to do specifically with AA other than they were posted by employees trying to figure out which union they wanted to be represented by. Dont give me the censorship stuff either since the posts were not all closed, deleted, or edited, simply moved to another board on the website where those who ONLY want to read about the AMFA/TWU debate could see them while not chasing away the other readers not interested in the union debate. We even posted a link and a reason at the top of the thread so no one could say we were trying to hide anything. If you wish to not post your union debate on this website in the forum that the moderators have decided best suits those who are posting/viewing the threads, that is your choice and this debate is closed.
