Brief Description
Must be at least 18 years of age. Possess a VALID US Driver’s license with a good driving record (US Airways' definition of a good driving record consists of less than three class B felonies operated on a motor vechicle, however if you have more than the amount prescribed be warned Us Airways now offers employees rickshaws to drive). Must be able to work varied hours, including nights, weekends and holidays. Graduation from high school plus a minimum of two years of customer service experience or the equivalent in related training and/or experience (Customer Service Experience in Prison Programs preferred). Must be self-motivated and detail oriented, with a positive/cooperative attitude, and be able to function effectively as a team member (Prison Detail Crews Apply within). Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Possess basic computer skills with the ability to easily grasp the functionality and concepts of company software (for manipulation, theft, and degradation of management's benefit); and be able to type at least 25WPM. Must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional and effective approach to high-stress situations. Must enjoy working with the public (Enjoyable but friendliness not required). Must be willing to perform repetitive tasks (such as performing five finger discounts for our Elite Preferred customers) and be able to lift up to 70 lbs; Company Drug Test required (Drug Testing for Kool-Aid only); Ability to obtain jet bridge certification. US Airways also encourages prospective prison participants to provide atleast three (3) rejection letters from other airlines, whilst not required previous rejections will lead to future employment at US Airways.
