This is Dave's NEW PLAN!!!! A continuation of the Old Plan. The transferring of MAINLINE flying to the RJS. Virtually every station that has transferred flying from Mainline to RJ"S has lost Market Share year over Year. There is no one to blame except MANAGEMENT.

Our Unions know this. With fuel cost going higher the the cost of transferring Mainline flights to RJS will keep getting more expensive.

All unions have to stand together on this issue. BTW, Management has yet to produce a study or poll that Pax's prefer to fly RJS rather than a boeing or bus.
 
Passengers wanted RJs to replace turboprop flying, NOT mainline flying.. However, in this current economy, the company is going to try to do whatever they can to stop losing money. U is not the only one in this mess. DAL and NWA may be in worse shape than they want you to believe. What hit U so hard was high seniority employees losing their pay and/or jobs. It didn't help that U basically did no hiring for seven years while everyone else did a lot of hiring, which cushioned a lot of their more senior employees. U had 10 year employees at the bottom of their respective seniority lists, just waiting for the dip in the economy (or 9/11) to see their jobs dissappear....
 
I suspect that all stations except BOS, PHL, LGA, BWI, DCA, PIT, MCO, TPA, FLL, PBI, MIA, PHX, DEN, LAS, SAN, LAX, SFO, SEA, MSY, DFW, IAH, MHT, BDL, MCI, ORD, PVD, RDU, will become mailineexpress over time.
