Update on Flight 718/June 16, 2011 (PHL‐FCO)

Seems you only question one side's version though.....

I've seen your retorts to anyone that questions that captain's or USAPA's version, however.

Forget about the coke. Just as I figured you didn't really mean it when you told our common friend that you were leaving this forum (you haven't) and didn't mean it when you posted that your were just here for a day this past Sunday (been here every day since), I figure you don't really want a friendly get-together but just an opportunity to release your bile in person.

Jim

No wonder you side with the westies, you are just like them. No integrity.

I questioned why anyone that wasn't there would make comments about another pilot. Just like lynrdskynrd said. But you, all knowing and wonderful...............let me clue you in, your reputation around here turns out to not be that stellar.

I did leave-I came back. I was just here for that day, until I came back, and I have not been here everyday. But again you clamor for facts, you just ignore them when they suit you.

Let's get together, it will be fun.

Guys, something stinks with this. Have any of you read the transcripts of the hearing in CLT where Captain Wells testified? Cactuspilot.com makes it very easy to find. I wonder why the company never cross examined Captain Wells? Her testimony is contrary to what is found on here, as posted by Mr Eagle. And Mr. Eagle, where did you get this and why would you post this on a public forum? Seems to be a violation of our corporate ethics guide. We have an assistant chief pilot suspended right now for providing company documents. But, back to your document, I have seen faults on Aurbus equipment that never showed up in a bite test. Did they pull the FDR and hear the crew saying they were shutting down the APU, because this makes no sense.

All this doesn't add up. Wells was not fired. Returned to duty. No comment from the company on why she was removed from duty.

Yes, I read it. Page 187, where the mechanics, according to Capt. Wells, stated under oath, "had problems with that APU all day...." Also, the next crew to take the jet, had the same problems, conveyed by phone to Capt. Wells,(page 201 for those who are interested in the facts instead of the crap Move2YellowMetroJetzz76 puts out.} Quite different than what is coming across here. PI, I think you mean CVR, and they cannot pull that unless the NTSB wants it for accident or major incident. What Eagle put out there is suspect. If I were Capt. Wells, and I am sure she has, I would get that copied for the lawsuit that is coming.
The entire transcript reads nothing like the West posters spin it. I honestly believe there is no way the company will get this injunction. We were told by Aqua over and over that it would happen in one day. Seeing the stuff he tells the Army, and spent their 2 million, nothing surprises me about his legalese. Amateur at best.

Yes, I did mean CVR, thanks for the correction. I hope this whole thread is copied if it is indeed headed that way and I have a feeling it is.

Isn't it funny that old BB got his knickers is a wad when Nos/Sum was throwing rocks at him and no one came to his aid, but one of his former fellow pilots can be described as having a "Pamprin" fit and not a peep? Maybe he really hated the "girl" easties!

Integrity.

Exactly, remember, these guys are mainly Mesa. They had no other airline to go to than AWA. Raised by Orenstein. Need I say more?

Well, I'm going to have to stand up for most of them. I know probably 10-15 guys over there and they are really good. We don't agree on the Nic, but they are more like lynrdskynrd, not 2CLT, Res jud, clear, luvn, Calloway and they other names they go by. Funny, but everyone I really like is a captain. I guess it's just their angry F/O club that is full of tools.

I guess the only difference between our angry F/O tools and yours on the east is that ours are at least sharp and useful.

Oh, that and about $20,000 a year.

You are probably right. The ones I have met are actually OK. It is the AFO s who are desperate for the Nic that cause the issues. That will end soon.

Her testimony is contrary to what is found on here, as posted by Mr Eagle.

No, Eagle's posting corresponds completely with Lyle Hoggs letter of Jul 25th. Again, would you lie to cover up another pilot's mistake? If not, why are you defending her and trying to question the authenticity of a letter that makes perfect sense?

If Capt. Wells lied about the APU shutdown (and made a false entry in an aircraft log) how can you trust any further testimony? The company had no need to give another microphone to a person whose character was questionable.

This is a perfect example of how someone ATTEMPTS to assassinate the truth. Read the testimony, the part where the mechanics had issues too. Conveniently left it out didn't you. Also the next crew had the same issues. Hopefully this one will go to CNN or 20/20.

Yes, it would make a good highlight on the story concerning pilots who lose their ability to fly. Maybe they could cut between Capt. Furious and Angus from AC DC as she's screaming into the microphone.

Another lie, you are the worst liar of the bunch. Read the testimony. Nothing of the sort happened. I could just as easily say I saw you drinking before you went to the airport, but I won't. You, however, will say whatever you can to destroy her credibility. Pathetic.

If, If, If..........at least NOW you are saying if.

I will give you the benefit of the doubt and try to find the letter for review, but...........Hogg, you mean the guy that you guys claimed was our boy and doing everything for us for years? That Hogg.

luvn, have you read the transcripts from CLT?
