It always amazes me that people claim that the "tweet", or the "post", or the "email,' etc. was "taken down shortly thereafter," That's the real fallacy, and they never seem to understand it.  That tweet will NEVER come down.  EVER.  That tweet will be available to be viewed by anyone with an internet connection for as long as there is an internet, and probably for as long as the human race exists.
 
In terms of human history, the internet is eternal.  Whether that is good or bad, in balance, for the long term remains to be seen.  Humans have never before dealt with anything like it.
 
Our collective ability to manage is so feeble in comparison to our ability to invent.

"We captured the tweet to flag it as inappropriate. Unfortunately the image was inadvertently included in a response to a customer. We immediately realized the error and removed our tweet.
