Twitter user gets revenge on nightmare passenger aboard Thanksgiving USAirways flight

I was hoping this was any other airline than us .......

The way that poor woman was treated by "elan" disgusts me ... One of our passengers has a breakdown right there on the flight and one of our employee's then contributes to the harassment of an individual who is either having an emotional break down or who could possibly be mentally ill ?

I don't like to see our employee's mistreated by the customers , but I also think we should be cognizant that there are a lot of people out there in this country under stress , especially at this time of year ...

Okay, so  at what point do you think it would've been okay for the US employees to let her know her behavior was NOT okay?

You're cool with agents, F/A's, and other customer-facing employees having to put up with this sort of abuse because people are "stressed out" over the holidays? WTF?

Whatever happened to personal accountability?

Well there's a difference between having an actual emotional or mental breakdown and selfishly ranting like a b*tch because you're incapable of acting like an adult, and it's pretty clear by the account which was occurring.  True, there are a lot of people under stress, probably most people, and there are plenty of mentally ill people as well, yet somehow the vast majority of them are still able to deal with it and not be a-holes to the people trying to get them where they want to go.

You really crack me up; active duty military in uniform should be given no boarding preference (remember that?) yet the most vicious, intemperate customers should have their posteriors smooched and receive special attention, 'cause they're in the unique position of being "stressed"...no wonder the airline keeps you hidden away in the dingy areas beneath the concourse.

I
And what if she is sick ? You mention "most" mentally ill don't behave like that ,but let's be honest here most people who are ranting and raving like that USUALLY are sick ..

We shouldn't be unduly cruel to people who.may have mental problems even if they annoy us .

As for my postion on military boarding I stand by personal opinion that the military should not come before the CIVILIAN population ,the military is here to serve us not vice versa .
