TWA will fly again!

There's nothing that AA can do to stop us!

What a great feeling!

TWA will rule the skies once again!

AA will soon sink into oblivion!

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!

Ok..first thing we have to do is offer AA some cash for the TWA name, it shouldn't take much considering AA needs the money.

Get some B717's and built up STL and JFK.
Eventually get 737-700's/900' for medium long haul domestic routes
Eventually get 767-200/400s for international routes
get some RJ's for the shorter routes..

Go TWA!

Fly again? With what? Whose money?
Great airline, great livery, great HISTORY. It's time to move on.
A picture's worth a thousand words - note the "exit" sign.

TWA departs

Why are peolpe on this board fascinated by an new airline called "TWA". You can talk about how this or that would happen at STL or JFK, but at STL AA is now the 800 pound gorilla( even in reduced form). At JFK JetBlue, AA( with all the old TWA's international route authorities) and DElta are competing with all those international flights. Terminal 5 is going to be partly perserved but mostly torn down( for Jetblue and UA (if it survives Ch 11), Therminal 6 is JetBlue, Where is this "new TWA" going to rule the place?

Terminal space is scarce and Terminal 4 is the only place to go, Just because its a recycled IAB doesn't make it less of the dog it used to be. All The "good" IAB tennants got so fed up they moved to Terminal 1, they built it and they control who gets in, no third world airlines need aply.

I would love to see a "new TWA" at JFk fly international routes but where are they going to fly? Paris or London( I doubt it), the Caribean, Tokyo? I don't see TWA flying across the Atlantic again. I'm not impressed by a network to the Caribean, and calling it "international". "New TWA" looks geographically challenged, I think the "new TWA" should by a existing airline like America West and change the name, then fly to Europe and Tokyo from Phoenix and Las Vegas. I wish you people well.

Ooh, ooh, ooh...I know, TWA will make its triumphant return from that brand new state-of-the-art hub facility, Mid-America Airport! No worries about congestion there!

Seriously, TWA was a great airline for decades - but it's time to let go. Living in the past can just be kinda sad.
