I don't hear anyone talking about Kamala should run again. People are only talking about Newsom, Prickster and Shapiro.

My take back during the primaries was the Dems intentionally didn't replace her on the ticket because they wanted to flush her along with Joe.

Biden (or Jill) decided to name her the heir apparent, not the DNC. You could tell that most of the Obama camp didn't want her at the top of the ticket, but really had no choice after Joe (or Jill) made that endorsement.

Same thing after she named Walz. Nobody in the Obama camp wanted Tim -- they wanted Shapiro.

Unfortunately, Walz still has a job for the next two years. Let's see how he holds up for re-election to the Governor's seat in 2026. You can't put all that bad press he got back in the bottle...

If they’re already talking about who should run next then they’re nuts and haven’t learned anything. They need to take about a year to self reflect and ask why they lost. Why they also lost so many of us who used to be loyal to them and may not be coming back.

They may want to look up the words Hubris and Arrogance before they decide on their next likely losing candidate?

Nah, it's easier to label everyone who didn't vote for KH as a misogynistic racist.....

Statistically, losing 20% of the Black vote and 45% of the Latino vote has been called the electoral tipping point for decades.

Civil Rights Era voters are shrinking each year, and younger voters of color are increasingly questioning their elders' blind party loyalty.

Latinos are likewise waking up to the reality of the the Democrats being the party of highly educated elites with liberal values that clash harshly with Catholocism.

Trump moved both those needles.

If the GOP can retain those shifts, then Democrats might be waiting a very long time to win another national election.

The Country always see saws back and forth between Parties. The Democrats will regroup and change their messaging and will eventually take the flag again. They may have a hard time with JD Vance in 4 years however. He definitely has a lot more charisma then the last few Vice President’s and Vice President candidates.

Vance comes across like a Country Boy populist and he’s very smart.

I think this is different. I think the loud minority of the extreme left have acted like a bunch of insufferable douchebags and people are sick of it.

Couple that with DEI hiring practices (which are unconstitutional) and indoctrination disguised as "training, education, and entertainment" and people have had enough.

It was time to flush the Democrat garbage. It was LONG overdue.

They’re shutting down their overreach of DEI and Woke as fast as they can. Although they did just sell a duct taped Banana for 6.2 Million Dollars.

Nah look at History. It’s see sawed since the very beginning. I think they got a shot at holding the Presidency for the next 12 years but then they’ll have a new Democrat savior they’ll produce who will take the crown.

They’ll also retake the House or the Senate in two years cause that happens all the time too.

Too many people are Independents and flip flop back and forth constantly.

Possibly the House, but definitely not the Senate in 2026.

The at-risk seats for the GOP are NC and ME. If both were flipped, that would still leave a GOP majority. Then there's GA and MI, currently held by Dems and could conceivably flip TO the GOP based on this month's election results.

Likely case, each party flips an existing seat. My money are on ME and GA swapping 1:1 and leaving the same majority in place.

That reflects their reality. Workers have made some inroads, but by and large what have traditionally been considered "good" jobs are harder and harder to come by. Unionization has ticked up incrementally, but not significantly-- same with manufacturing. Couple that with housing getting more & more out of reach every day and, well....

I'm not a faith-based voter, but this is something that the left ignores at their own peril.

The loudest people at each end of the spectrum usually get the most oxygen. I think the boring reality is that most people just want good roads and good schools, ya know?

That said, the far left is obsessed with equality of outcome. They should focus that energy on equality of opportunity. That's harder to do, but is far more beneficial in the end.

Having been raised a Catholic, the only Republican value that the church holds is on abortion. Otherwise they are socially liberal.. They teach that Jesus fed the poor, healed the sick, and gave shelter to those without any. He didn't preach '"pull up your bootstraps and get a job.'.

But the abortion stance will always be there.

So looking at this link how many people do you feel we should try to help?

BTW plenty of Republicans are preaching the need for migration but they just want them to go about it the right way.

Oh and maybe a little appreciation and respect to the host Country would go a long way for more people not wanting to kick them out on their ungrateful keesters.

This is the reason we can’t keep looking to take care of everyone. We need to stop. 🛑

Hopefully DOGE is looked at seriously on both sides (Doubtful) so we can start to get our financial house in order. People saying it’s not going to work are just looking to become Venezuela or Argentina. (Before Milei)
