They always float that canard. There is no "voter suppression". Just the typical stirring up the underclass to prove to them they are on their side. Despite the fact they are the ones keeping the underclass in poverty, etc.

There are isolated-but verifiable- instances of people being denied their right to vote after voter ID laws have been enacted. These people have never before had an issue casting a ballot.

Ok, I'll agree, but it doesn't seem to be to the 'sky is falling' level being perpetrated by the left.
Even with voter ID there would have to be some instances due to the law of averages, no system is perfect.
So we outweigh the issue of one person being 'disenfranchised' vs say ten or more cheating?

I'd agree if I thought it was 1 v 10; I simply haven't seen anything that comes anywhere near that ratio.

With that in mind, the idea should be to have voting be as accessible as possible. The GOP seems to be betting the other way.

It's not just ID at the polling place. 
 
Here in Kansas, there was a move (among the republican officials) to make it so that if you registered using the federal form rather than the Kansas form, you could not vote.  The courts turned them down, so if you registered with the federal form, you can vote for president and congress, but you CANNOT vote in state and local elections...even if you show your drivers license at the polling place.  Because in order to register to vote in Kansas, you have to provide your birth certificate.  If you don't have that - or you can't get that in time for an election....you can't vote in state elections.  As I said, they tried to make it apply to federal elections, but the courts denied them.

Indeed....in Kansas, a state that has no money to spare, we have spent tens of millions of dollars to insure that our elections are legit.  And just late last year, they made their move.  They were prosecuting people for "voter fraud".  They charged 4 people.

Well thankfully that wasn't a problem in  " JOE - JA " ( meaning inability to vote.)  I noticed a  TON  of 'BROTHA' Georgians came out in droves to vote for  SISTA'  'HILL  !!!
