What will Trump do to bring them back revitalize South Carolina.  What will Trump do to bring back jobs and make PIttsburgh "Steel City" once again?  Cut taxes to zero?  Foreign competitors invested money to upgrade steel mills rather than shareholder dividends....what will he do to make it more attractive to bring industry back to the US?  

 
Dumping by nationalized gov't owned mills is what killed the US steel industry from Japan and Europe, now Europe deals with the Chinese doing the same thing to them.

I posted something similar on another thread and the response was that auto manufacturing was the second largest industry in SC, so who cares if clothes are made in Mexico.  
 
With thinking like that, then who cares if cars are made in Mexico.  And who cares if Steel is made in China.  And who cares if *insert industry here* is made somewhere else...Trump promised to send the illegals back.  And that will open up TONS of landscaping jobs for Americans....so who really cares if manufacturing is somewhere else.

The flip side of that is Japanese workers have a different work culture than American workers. I doubt many of them go on forums and complain for years on end about their employer for instance.........
 
Japanese workers are driven to be successful and productive. I come on here and see American workers brag about "doing just enough to not get fired".
 
Why should American Airlines put value on employee's labor and skill when employees make public declarations of doing just enough to get a paycheck? See the forum link below for examples of what I am talking about.
