Okay....so let's say Trump wins the nomination and eventually the presidency.  He looks at his books.  Wow...that's a lot of red ink.  His experience has shown that his first option is usually bankruptcy.  Walk us thru how this will help the US?   It's one thing to screw the average Joe investor/pension fund....it's another thing to screw China.

Here is something that just hit me....How many shuttered textile mills are there in South Carolina?  Trump has a clothing line....where are they made?  If anything, this only goes to prove two things...

What will Trump do to bring them back revitalize South Carolina.  What will Trump do to bring back jobs and make PIttsburgh "Steel City" once again?  Cut taxes to zero?  Foreign competitors invested money to upgrade steel mills rather than shareholder dividends....what will he do to make it more attractive to bring industry back to the US?

I think you just might be starting to get it.  he certainly won't bring back what had been their livelihoods since it would reduce the profits he gets from his clothing line.   South Carolinians are not alone though....several middle class republicans vote against their own best interests.  If that is a false statement, perhaps you could tell me 3 things the republicans have done to help the middle class.
