I'm sure Trump wrote about it in his comeback book. You know....I lost a billion, but I came back. A little braggadocio that T Rump is famous for. And it's great - if you ignore the fact that he lost a billion dollars in one of the best economies this county has seen in the last 50 years. I think this is where Trump got the idea that we could negotiate our way out of the national debt. I do recall reading (can't recall the source) that Trump had once said that if you owe the bank $10,000 and can't pay it, you're in trouble. If you owe the bank a few hundred million dollars and can't pay it - the bank is in trouble. He's also the guy that defended 4 bankruptcies by saying "I did very well personally". Which most likely is true...the thing is...the people who BELIEVED in him...the people who INVESTED in him...they got screwed. And should he be elected, I do believe a lot of his current supporters will wish they would have invested in a little vaseline.

Trump lost a billion dollars in the MID 90's. YOu're right...the banks were dumb to lend to Trump based on his name and reputation from the go go 80's...I guess to paraphrase the right - the banks were giving loans to people who could not afford them and should never have had them.

And yes...Lincoln had it hard. But you know...T Rump wasn't born in a log cabin in rural Illinois either. And here's something...Michael Jordan didn't make his varsity high school basketball team at first. I think that today he's wealthier than Trump...and he didn't screw anybody over to get there.

I just tested the "ignore" feature - I don't know what it did before, but it evenblocks quoted posts from a person on ignore. I put Hack on ignore and this thread suddenly became a tard free zone. I took him off again, but it's pretty powerful.
