Ok I'll give Travis and co. the benefit of the doubt BUT considering how long the flight is and his time of appearance couldn't he have had someone put out a CBS message? Maybe it wouldn't have been read by everyone but I'm sure someone would have seen it and spread the word. So any rescheduled date? THIS is the part that ticks me of at least. I feel that as a f/a we're an after though to the company. I'm sure many other groups feel the very same way.

I mean...I KNEW the flight was gonna cancel the day before it leaves...say...11-12 hours...thats why I am calling horsecrap on Travis...he could have took UA or interlined...or even orchestrated an new a/c for the flight...
Or heres a novel idea, get the contracts integrated so "West" metal and "East" metal could be interchanged. How many spares did they have in PHX that - could - potentially have been used for this flight if the contracts were integrated? Since it was a 700 flight number that means it was an "East" plane out of service. Too bad that they probably had a "West" sitting spare (or that could easily have been rerouted) that they couldnt use to fly the VP to a previously announced meeting with the troops. And Tempe has to wonder why morale is so bad and people are p*ssed? :down:
