Reports indicate US Airways has obtained RJ financing and delivery positions for MidAtlantic aircraft, presumably the EMB-170 and EMB-175.

GECAS will provide the financing; however, details of the plan cannot be announced until US emerges from bankruptcy.

Looks like a nice bird. But for passengers of today to really accept it, it should say Boeing or Airbus.

Frankly, I think that as long as the plane does not have propellors, people will be more inclined to fly it.

If that cross-section is right... I think this plane (all other things being equal) will be very popular.

no problem seeing as i dont commute i could care less, however the 3 or 4 ml pilots that commute daily will. i will be sure and pass along a copy of your post and your regards so they can thank you as they try and find a new way to work.
