The Assault On Labor

Unions today are in themselves corporations, as such they are no different than the companies they work with. They no longer represent their clients but themselves, whats worse is they weave a web of lies pretending to be for the " working man " or " middle class" . Nothing could be further from the truth.....
you guys are just now figuring out the scam by labor organizations?? really???

Finally.................someone get's it !

Only difference between the two? One puts money in your pocket, the other has their hand in your pocket !

Don't be a fool! Unless you're the the type always looking to game the system, most of labor provides a good effort and loyalty to have "money put in your pocket".
Be very careful to start spouting the anti-union rhetoric, your ignorance of the subject will be displayed for all to see. No doubt, what most unions will try to convince you is "strategy to keep up with changing times ",it is a strategy that has failed its members and they owe it to those very members to revise it. Take some time to study the history of unionism and and you will see that middle class and unions walk in lockstep. When one struggles, so will the other. Unions of the past have solidified the middle class and only when corporate greed grows do we lose an acceptable standard of living. In my mind, any union member that doesn't appreciate the standard of living that past practices of unions have helped us to achieve over the average middle class worker, and find it so easy to spread anti-union venom, are hypocrates.Aircraft Maintenance has no one but ourselves to blame for allowing an industry union to destroy our value as a skilled workforce. I plan for that to change. Going into the future, unions have their place for us and the union that will have the most success will be a leader who comes up with a creative alternative to the strike. The days of militancy and conflict went out with Jimmy Hoffa and will require thinking 'outside the box '.

Let us all know how that works out for ya, post bankruptcy and minus the union dues you've paid all these years !

It's not the spread if anti-unionism, it's the spread between the TWU International officers and those they represent. The vacuums are the same as that between corporate greed and the people.

And the young will be turning over cars, setting them on fire, looting and other activities with all their spare time.

That's a start.

The corporate bought media portrays any labor rebellion or protest as a bunch of loose cannons or left wing liberal hippies as in the seventies.

OWS, occupy wall street, was given the same treatment most recently. Big labor didn't rally behind them, and the media talking heads were allowed to bash their efforts every night on the evening news.

So head down to your local Walmart and show them your union card for your discounted dog food that you'll be serving your family for dinner soon.
