TAESL RIF Facts

Too bad the AFW guys were scared the DFW guys were going to take their weekends with a one station agreement.
Where does that come from? The seniority between the two stations was comparable. During the 19 years I was at AFW, I can not recall a DFW/AFW one station ever being discussed.

it was discussed but mr pike never wanted it. So i was told by an old dfw pres. Pike always against it.

No that was an old Matt lorenzi speech. He was able to talk the membership out of it. That speech occured years ago when meetins were held in roanoke. I think it was the roanoke civic center. What I find interesting is that Matt lorenzi, rick grant and Bob kirk all snuck out at the same time. In one of the last round of transfers...

Do you mean Haslet? I don't ever remember going to Roanoke. I remember the Holiday Inn in Fort Worth. Maybe I drank to much at the hotel bar.

May have been Haslet. In the beginning we meet if I remember right is was next door to the fire dept or something.it was across the railroad tracks from that bbq joint.

I was wondering,  has anyone at AFW stores gotten their report/start date for your new station your being bumped too ???

Sorry, I can't speak for stores, but as an AMT I have not, nor has anyone I have talked too.

Is there any updated list with actual numbers of who is going where?
I was told that we can go to the union office and see the list but that the list wouldn't be released.

Having the list so every Union member can view it is the safest thing for the union to do. That way everyone can see that their seniority wasn't violated and the union leaders can't be accused of helping themselves or friends at the expense of a union brother. It's not like union leaders have the best reputation. Plus not sharing info with the membership gives the leadership that vale of dishonesty.

So wait, AA doesn't have a way you can look at the seniority list?

If i am understanding that right, that sucks. We have to be on a company computer (I think, never tried it at home) but can look it up. (overall list and by dept./location)

Looks like TAESL had a nice little Christmas party. Where did all the nice gifts come from?

Correct; company computer only.

FWIW, no system list for ACS...
