Swa Beats Us Again.....

U has never had any marketing plan. No catchy adds, nothing. I am surprised the company even wastes moneyon a marketing department. Even here in WASH DC where U has a major presence and is supposedly the "hometown airline".....the only building with a prominent company tie-in was torn down recently...the US AIR Arena

I am also looking at the LOSS of Revenue this will create, speaking of coarse of Charters. It is my understanding that Charters operate in the 30%-40% PROFIT range. This Company, MANAGEMENT, just doen't have a clue!!!!!

Just to clear up some things, i see US advertising at the Wachovia Center and the new Lincoln Financial Field. Second, just because an airline is the official airline of a sports team does not mean they handle all of their charters. WN couldn't fit the Philadelphia Eagles who typically use Northwest. Also the sixers and flyers have used Northwest for several years now and this new deal might not have any affect on that.

According to the article in the business section of Friday's Inquirer, the marketing deal is just that, it does not include charters or free tickets or free seats.

So do you think US will carry the Phillies around next year? I doubt it !

the last time i saw on nbc 10 phlly station, the phillies flew a northwest b-757 (i think it was a 757) out of phl to the west or something for their road games

i am almost postive all the philly sports teams use Northwest.
Eagles use NW 752's and sometimes DC10's
Flyers use DC9's and 320's
Sixers use DC9's
And not positive about Phillies but i think they use 320's
