Once they returned to profits they turned their backs on those who sacrificed and rushed greedily to the bargaining table for more. All of you should take pay cuts or return the 9/11 funds.

Somebody should call you Shallow Hal/Halet. Is it only TWA F/A's you care about? What about the other affected TWA employees? Don't they count? I guess not.

It seems you have an axe to grind with the wrong people. If you want to lay blame, lay it at the feet of the worthless, greedy, short sighted TWA MANAGEMENT that drove your former airline into bankruptcy, (3 times? I forget) and the foolish AA buy-out that followed. Then blame the muslim terrorists that caused 9/11, and the layoffs that followed. Then blame your former union that wouldn't fight for you. Of course, we can't leave out mega-greedy Uncle Carl. These entities caused TWA families to "wither away".... not AA, not its employees, nor its unions that attempted to protect its members.

At this point in time, after 5 years and all the non-stop TWA bitching and TWA lawsuits about "I demand my seniority", most non-TWAers wish to the Almighty God that cAArty would have let TWA go to the Chapter 7 scrap heap and bought the routes. Hate to feel like this, but you people caused it.

What's "sad" is the ungratfulness you and many of your TWA ilk display. If you hate AA, the APFA, and your "co-workers" so much, why in the HELL do you want to come back???

BTW, not to be cruel, but the youngest TWA F/A I've seen is about 55, so your "not going away" statement is kinda relative, wouldn't you say? :huh:

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? This one post has probably done more harm and disolved the support we have been working on for the past umteen months. This is NOT just about the f/as. I would love to see the financial figures from the other unions and non contract employees in regards to their "shared sacrifice" contributions. If the f/as is in the $600,000,000 range, can you begin to fathom the amt. contributed by the furloughed pilots, mangt. , mechanics, ramp, and non contract.

Those furloughed are made up of former TWA and very junior probationary "original" AA f/as. The flight attendant s are the only group on the property not to have secured extended or unlimited recall. Jane Allen was very "clear" in a STL mtg. that extended recall would not be discussed because of the "top of the pay scale" issue. AA was brilliant in the fact that THEY gave us pay seniority(against the APFAs wishes) and then have used it against us at every possible moment. So be it.

AA needs to offer recall because those furloughed have contributed significant amts. towards the return to financial profitability.

Please do not hurt the cause by posting unprofessional drivel. We have enough valid reasons to support the position.
