Southwest Pax Alleges Discrimination

While I am not a fan of WN I am glad they won this case. And I think all airlines need to charge double for a person of size. While I am not slim, I can still fit into a seat without bothering my neighbor.

Even though I rarely fly WN, I watch their operation @ MHT, and they have a great crew, and I hope this case did not adversely affect them

Also, this person had a poor lawyer if that lawyer could not have at least one minority on the jury, or have it tried out of state since NH is one of the least diverse states in the country.
So she had a poor case and and bad lawyer, and what cosmetic company does she own? A local Mary Kay operation?

Perhaps her lawyer was clever by NOT seeking a diverse jury thus assuring she could claim racism regardless of the decision?

Nadine is the founder and owner of "Warm Spirit", a company that markets cosmetics and beauty products primarily toward women of color. Her sales method is similar to Mary Kay in that representatives pay her a fee for the privilege of selling her products. This was a huge piece of free advertising for her company and, by loudly playing the race card, took the emphasis off SWA's policy and her girth and put it squarely on the market to which she sells. The media was being used IMHO.
